I was in the top 3 in battlegrounds. I beat the person I played against and dealt enough damage to get them out. The animations played like normal, but when I went back to the tavern after the round, instead of continuing play, it said I had got 2nd place. I got dealt no damage and still had over 10 health.
I was playing as sir Finley mrrgglton with Chenvaala’s power.
That happened to me today too. Was playing Maiev
Twice in two days during battle grounds I have gotten 2nd because the person in first place never fought anyone. I never got a chance to face the person in first place. The first time I was playing Murlocks and the second time I was playing dragons. I don’t know why this is happening but I am sure I was going to get first place both times. I have a picture of it but I guess we can’t upload here
Same thing happened to me at least twice since the new patch came out.
I was going to win the battleground but got second place without ever fighting the person getting the 1st place.
Same thing. I was matched with the same 2nd place player 3 times in a row (3 of us were alive). We played 2 rounds as a draw, 3rd time I killed him and still had 9 HP left. Got 2nd place. 1st place player’s log showed 2 defeats by 18 HP in the last round, yet he had 30+ current HP.
Just happened to me. Was playing Patchwork and never went against the top player (He remained top the entire game). When it finally came down to just me and him, I auto got 2nd place. I have an image of the score screen, showing that I just got done beating 3rd place and this screen came up right away. I thought maybe he lost to a ghost until I noticed second place.
Just happened to me as well Ysera was in first fighting Rat King with one dragon over and over dealing 4 damage to him - I was in second and fought 3rd place twice and when I won it said I got second place - I needed 1st place achievement for the hero as well so that is really lame. What a huge bug. I also have screenshot. This is not on your list of known bugs yet but it is crazy to get second when you deserve first and lose an achievement you work hours for.
Today happend once op in mine lobby and one in mine gf’s lobby. A player left the lobby but his character didnt went ctun. His character stayed alive but acted like ctun. I was second and i killed the third player. Jandice (the undead) was first due to not losing life. Game ends iam second, losing to a 2 turn leaving iandice with a 2-2. Even in stats i didnt got first. Pretty bamboozeld
This has happened to me at least 10+ where im winning the all the fights but after the top 3 fight and the last 2 are left after defeating the 3rd person, ure auto loss and won 2nd place. This occurred to me and my friends and i finally got annoyed of it all because it hasn’t been fixed since this patch update hearthstone did about 2 weeks ago. Like whats going on? its ridiculous. Either ppl are hacking for rating rank up for auto 1st place or this is a major glitch. I took a screenshoot of my matchup after i beat the 3rd person and the 2nd place winning loss without fighting the last guy

Happened to me aswell. I beat 3rd place and i still had iceblock up, suddenly the game was over and gave me second place. Both me and 1st place were still alive.

Just happened to me too. We where 3 alive and I played 3 times vs the same guy, the otherone never played and had his life almost full. Once I won instead of playing the 3d guy I was just awarded a 2nd place! wtf
