5 days ago i decided to install again HS cuz my friend told me theres new ranked system, rewards and soon they will add more futures to HS. So i was super hyped and installed it.
I got placed in bronze 10 with 6 stars and i went on winstreak all the way to diamond 5.
I hit Legend in around 10 hours with 93% winrate ( even tho i had 8 months break and missed so many expansions) BUT heres the problem… The new system is super easy to climb.
I have an idea how to make it better , now u getting winstreak from diamond 10 to 5. Can we remove the winstreak so people take their time and climb wihtout any winstreaks in Diamond rank?
Also i might playing from 5 days but im trying to push for top 200 , i’m currently 4k rank.
AND here is the another HUGE problem. Most of my matches i was matched vs Diamond/plat players , i started at 14k Legend , at this low rank i expect to be matched vs diamonds but after i went on 18-2 streak … i got to 5k rank and still getting matched vs Diamonds which is painful. AND somehow im getting less points vs Diamonds, Im winning 400 and losing around 700. I was about to push for 3k today but i lost 2 matched and from 4800 i went all the way to 6100… after only 2 loses… LIKE WHAT , and these people were diamond 9 and 10 …
So the question is , why when i have 94% winrate in Legend im getting matched vs Diamonds? and why im losing around 700 and winning so little… thats painful
FIX THAT matchamking / mmr PLEASE
I would prefer if they added win streaks in diamond 5-1… it’s soo annoying to be stuck there and losing stars Whilst you are there is just annoying… it’s like your always going forward one and then backwards two… should it really be this hard to get to legend? No idea why I’m facing against so many legend players on top of that…
Problem is not in win streak bonus, it’s in matchmaking. Never heard some explain from Blizzard and you now confirm that matches are not balanced by mmr properly. Some players from legend meet also platina players, something stinks on this matchmaking.
Yeah dude i have more than 90% winrate i shouldve getting matched vs below 500 players or atleast not vs diamonds and only vs legend players… i just got matched vs plat 2 player… and i won only 180 points … LIKE WTFFF 4500 legend vs plat 2 player… i cant imagine if i lost that game how much i wouldve lose … i probably would quit HS again… xD
Agreed. its the matchmaking that’s fishy, there is no transparency or know rules to how it official works. Also I wonder what deck a player that has been “8 months” removed from the game uses to streak that hard?

I still believe the real issue is the matching system. They want new and returning players to feel rewarded. I’ve never made Legend and I’m pretty good, all homebrew.
Climbing to Legend’s super easy now.
Dont get me wrong … the rank rewards are good now … better than back in the days… BUT the matchamking system sucks… why Legend players are getting matched vs plats and diamonds :x … my brain hurts…

Totally agree with you, I mean it feels way easier, as Im coming from rank 20/18 before the new system, and now Im sitting stuck at 7 platinum, I’m not sure what plat equals to last system but it feels that I improved my rank.
plat is probably rank 6 to 10 in old system
What would you recommend for me as a new player to play, what hero? I used to play ress priest but I wanna change to something that’s more agressive and ofc easy to rank up with. Becasue I’m not at a point where I can play homebrew yet lack too many natural cards.
You can try hunter , hunters are super new players friendly since they dont req expensive cards to smash the face of their opponent xD
Definitely easier then it was before… but still too hard… getting to the top of diamond 2 to then go back to bottom of 3 is no fun…
If you play out-dated deck , maybe but with the current meta decks u will climb from d3 to Legend in like 2-3 hours .
Duno mate… I’m running DH, warlock, can’t get beyond the top of diamond rank 2 any recommended deck specifically?
DH and warlocks are having hard time right now especially after the nerfs. I can recommend a Galak rogue i personally keeping the 90% winrate with it … Highlander Mage or Priest these are super OP decks right now

I made rogue as my main missing 3 cards playing galak secret rogue but I don’t find it any good whatsoever, i been looking truthe deck, and it’s just not working.
