It’s just stuck at the Inn Doors, the Hearthstone logo won’t even show. I have done everything, reinstalled, my drivers are all up to date, and my firewalls are off. All other games work fine, just Hearthstone has all these issues.
Hey there Edynol,
That is odd that Hearthstone is not wanting to connect for you after all that troubleshooting. Usually this is due to something interfering, damaged files, or a connection issue. I have two ideas that can help that weren’t mentioned already.
First is to clear out the folder Hearthstone uses for some temporary files. It may not be removed with a reinstall and need to be removed manually. I am not sure what platform you’re using, but am going to assume Windows. If you have a Mac, please do let us know. The steps for this are:
- Press Windows Key + R to open the Run diaglogue
- Type %LocalAppData% into the Run field and click OK
- Open the Blizzard folder.
- If there is no Blizzard folder, ensure to show hidden files and folders
- Delete the Hearthstone folder.
The other idea is to change the connection and network. If you have a friend or neighbor who you can connect to, it can help for temporary testing. Alternatively many players have mobile devices and service plans that have hotspot or tethering. Using that can also work to test if you can connect without a problem. If you see you can, then it’s either a network or ISP issue and something you’ll likely want to talk to your ISP about if switching back to your normal connection doesn’t work.
I have the same problem except it’s on my phone
I have the same issue as LordReivax1
I have an i10r Current OS. when I open Hearthstone, it looks for updates, and just sits there.
