I can’t even describe my frustration playing this game as F2P…
some decks like Pirate DH and almost all decks that have the Kil’Jaeden card are completely broken.
I got legend rank (around 300) last season, and now I can’t get out of bronze, I haven’t even won one of these absurd decks once.
EDIT: almost forgot about asteroid shaman ‘-’
You can try Elemental Mage, took me from Silver to Diamond (13 wins in a row). A legend player like you should have no problems climbing with it.
i fail to see to issue here, whats stopping you from using these cards?
Ehhhhhh it’s a dust problem I’d imagine, not everyone has the dust to spare for the latest neutrals.
I’m circumventing the problem by using Paparazzis to help me get the legendaries I’m too poor for, but even then I’m still having to make a bucket list of things I’m looking out for just so I can get a feel for how the decks do with or without them readily available.
All I know is if a round ever comes down to a double kil’jaeden stalemate someone’s gonna be left feeling like they shoulda just ate the fatigue so they could die faster.
Here’s me hoping it never has to come to that and Kil’jaeden only gets used by wheel of death warlocks instead of the depressing idea of everybody having him in their back pocket as a last resort.

and? disenchant stuff you dont use, collect 1600 dust, craft it
i dont play priest, so all its cards are just a piggy bank for me
Another way to get dust a bit faster, buy gold packs, disenchant cards you won’t use or dupes of normal copies

Maybe it’s because I’m slumming it in Diamond 5 and playing 4fun but when you say this season yeah there’s some vexing stuff like Elemental Mage and that weird rogue deck. But at least in mage’s case that was a deck that kind of already existed and just made worse until the yearly rotation. Beyond that I’ve mostly been facing warriors and death knights with 0 new cards. All three archetypes of warrior seem to eschew them (Mech Wrench, Reno, Odyn) especially. I think what’s so damning about this expansion is that asides from like five cards the set is grossly underpowered to those before which is a shame because they’re fun cards, they just suck when held against past releases.

there are no fun decks anymore… there are only win conditions and keycards that you simply don’t have you can’t play
what blizzard calls “random event” is just a ploy to keep the game in check, disfavoring those who do not pay and favoring (slightly because they are also scammed) those who pay, and balancing the game that otherwise due to the ineptitude of the designers would be very unbalanced. I choose to play only for free, I do not think that blizzard deserves a single dollar so amen, blizzard pays millions in taxes and the government would allow it to manipulate any “random” event in its games, as long as it pays and does not violate serious laws, as it has done in the past risking a lot (search on the web for “blizzard criminal company”)
