When is EU going to reactivate??
You fixed the deck selection, but didn’t turn it on on the European server, I don’t want to wait another 9 days for the ON button

Thanks for all the files that you sent in. We pushed a fix while I was on a short vacation so sorry for the delay in notifying you. It seems like some of you in EU are still having problems? For those of you who are having problems - what build are you on right now? (You can see this beneath the play button on the battle.net app on PC.)

The problem is free deck error.
When I choose one free deck and confirm, then the game says error.
The error message is “We encountered an error attempting to redeem your free deck. Please log out and back in to try again.”
I tried to log out and back in and reinstall the game, but this error is still there.
This error has happened since 9 days ago at least.

And nothing has changed after 17.2.2 client update.
I hope this error will be fixed soon.

In my account, the UI bug never happened and just error before and after the patch.
So for me, “nothing has changed”.

Seiran you are incorrect with part of your statement above when you say “nothing has changed”. Patch 17.2.2 fixed the selection UI bug so we can now switch options and are not forced into selecting warrior. The problem at the moment is the fact that the EU has not reactivated free deck rewards yet so we can’t redeem any of our choices.
EU region Battlenet still says: Breaking News - [Free Deck Error] We have temporarily disabled free deck rewards to resolve a bug. Eligible players will receive their deck when the bug has been fixed and this feature is reactivated.
Tell the EU to remove this because their is no more UI bug and we can select any option we want but they are still stopping us from redeeming it, very frustrating…

Well for me the UI bug never happened. I could pick whatever deck I wanted not just the warrior, all I got and still get (after the patch) is the error message. So your ‘patch’ changed nothing.
Please be specific people, don’t just say the same confusing things.
We CAN select any of the free decks we just CANT REDEEM IT.
The “error” message you get has nothing to do with patch 17.2.2, it was there before the patch released because they disabled redeeming of the decks so people don’t accidentally get warrior. The patch fixed the UI bug and there is no problem picking free decks on PC anymore.
The error is only on the EU region, the other regions have no notification, please tell them to REACTIVATE REDEEMING OF FREE DECKS ON EU again.

Ah, okay, that’s a separate issue. Thank you for clarifying. I’ve forwarded this information. I’m notifying some people to see if we can get this system re-enabled, but since it is currently the weekend I can’t guarantee anything at the moment.

As you all know, there was a bug with free decks (apparently fixed ?).
But, as other players, I chosed my deck and Ive got the WRONG deck because of the bug.
I selected the Rogue Deck, and I’ve got the Warrior deck…
I, obviously want the Rogue deck, I don’t care at all about the warrior deck.
Plus, I Already had the whole Warrior deck fully in my collection (except the legendary weapon I think, I’m not even sure about that, but they can delete this card, and this card only, if they want, no problem for me) .
I don’t need it at all.
I did a request who sent me to the Technical Support Forum.
So, here I am, waiting for the right deck I chosed and waiting you fixed the bug I suffered.
This creates a monstrous injustice between the players who could choose their deck and the others, victims of the bug.
As a GM told me once, all players are in the same boat and Blizzard makes sure everyone is equal, that there is no injustice.
Perfect, I am waiting for my injustice to be repaired.

I was also thinking that the weekend + Grandmasters would be complicating things a bit. Just glad to hear you haven’t forsaken us & that you’re aware of the problem about redeeming decks on EU. Hoping we get some good news soon…
Leodagan, I’m sorry for your situation about receiving the wrong deck.
There was a bug with the UI that caused some people to get the warrior deck no matter what class they selected. You probably clicked “Confirm” without noticing it was still saying warrior, before they had a chance to temporarily disable that feature like it is at the moment. Patch 17.2.2 fixed that UI bug, but I’m not sure if they intend or are able to refund/change your deck after a selection has been redeemed. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you though buddy, best of luck.

I checked Decklist before picking my deck and I’v already got the whole Warrior deck (and I’m not interested with it btw).
I really wanted tot ry the Rogue deck, plus he has a lot of legendaries which means he’s very expansive.
I’m very sad they fixed it (and before that, disable the feature) juste after I picked the deck…
