This patch would easily be the best patch we ever hard, if it wasnt for that one stupid deck.
Regardless of the stats, which show its one of the best decks, the play pattern of this deck is incredibly toxic. It can literally OTK on turn 7-8 for 60 damage consistenly with minimum counterplay.
Just delete the card please at this point

plush is fine, i dont play hunter and it requires alot more of setup and cant kill you in 1 turn, unlike dragon priest.
It is not even the Zarimi that is the real issue.
Its the legendary that makes all dragons cost 1 mana.

you are probably right since as far as i know Zarimi its an old card and this never happened before, even when Ysera was “pre released” on last set

My Conspiracy Theory/*pure conjecture, is that the Devs make some cards extremely good in their last year of a Rotation so that they make the players spend more dust. Eg it really annoys me that I see Magtheridon being great now in Cliff Dive because I never had to craft it and it rotates next time.
PS that card was never played basically, last time it was meta the Shopper deck was cheating it out with Discovery.

Yeah when they drop that I know it’s time to go. I don’t even concede. I just close the app. They’ve wasted my time. And now I’m going to waste theirs

I had done that too, but I’ve seen them die. Sometimes they literally don’t have Zarimi drawn.
Well I guessed it might had been true, because they were only 5 health to die.
But it’s a good strategy for them …to hope someone concedes.

What’s worse is you don’t even have to craft Naralex, just progress the reward track and boom, free legendary.
A reasonable fix would be change it to reduce the cost of your dragons by X amount, or even the first dragon you play each turn costs 1.

I’ve seen the opposite, they’re down to single digit, I’m at full , 3-4 taunts out, they have almost empty board, turn 8, Naralex followed by Ysera, followed by 2 12/7 that deals excess damage followed by Zarimi

Well yeah, that’s their usual win condition, spam of stuff and then fresh round for double damage.
PS the 10 cost dragons are the real deal, they give that extra +20 damage at least.

Boring people into conceding seems to be a recurring theme with priest deck design

I have so much dust it’s not even funny. I built 5 decks and made every single relevant card.
If you pay for cards every expansion it’s not news. If you play for at least 2 years regularly it’s also not news. But you have to “P2W” a little if you want a lot of netdecks and you’re a new player in their first year.
That is the role of the armor infinite minion warlock deathrattle deck.
I was DK with Kil’Jaeden getting around +40/40 and their minions started as 3/2 or something but when killed buffed up to +20/20s…
The issue was they had 2,400 armor and I couldn’t really get through that while I only had ~60 total health/armor.

they give you incredible cards on new accounts which gets you well into gold, and by then you will have acrewed some in game currency to buy packs and build decks that are quite competitive. You don’t need to pay to win at all, and you have very little clue as to what it is you are talking about. The one fair thing about this game is that you can skate by, by simply playing for free. You can earn a lot from battlegrounds and single player quests as well that get you a very competitive deck.
yeah the game is a bit ridiculous and very unfun right now. I just finished a game where I had 1300 armor and 140 health, and the other player got up to 75 health and the game just kept going on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on until the other player simply quit on turn 50 or 60? There is SO much nerffing needed.
That’s a strawman. I was telling you new f2p accounts can’t make various netdecks easily, not that they will die left and right if they make 1 netdeck.
Ah I see I may have confused you with the usage of the quoted “P2W”. It was in jest meaning they’d have to pay to make many netdecks early.
Played against a bot using this deck, hilarious how brain dead this deck and still be run without actually playing it.
That’s pretty much all a Priest has, and the stars have to be aligned to get it rights after playing 8 dragons, however, it’s the first time in years that Priest actually had a reasonable deck. To be honest I find bloated leech much more annoying.
