Flamewalker in wild needs a nerf now. Not tomorrow

I don’t mind losing to mage from their crazy card draw.

But flamewalker is what feels bad. Really bad. It makes wild unplayable without creating decks just to try to somehow counter flamewalker.

I could armor up to 30 on my warrior and still lose on turn 6 somehow to just a single flamewalker against a mage. This is absurd. Fix this card now.

Flamewaker should be redesigned so that he only triggers on Fire spells. The card could probably be bumped up to a 3-Mana 3/4 to compensate, given the current power level in Wild and the amount of vanilla-statted minions with an upside that are now in the game.

Now that Spell Schools exist, why not leverage them for elegant design when it comes to old and new cards alike? :yum:

ive been playing mage in wild

i wanted to try the new elementals and play with FLJ

mages running that flamewaker card never test for potion of polymorph or explosive runes !

lost track of how many flamewalkers got hit by that card !
same if you play hunter and run snipe

Shouldn’t be forced to have to play one of 2 or 3 classes just to MAYBE try and counter that card. I have even created decks to try and counter mage and they only worked some of the time and this is not what balance is about.

The only somewhat fun deck right now that is for sure beating them is odd leper mech bomb hunter with hero power damage and refresh buffs.

I don’t play wild but the number one complaint i hear about wild is flamewalker mage. I Prayge for you.

Wild is wild. Blizzard tends to be hands-off on Wild. There are far too many cards in Wild to be able to balance them all.

If you want a more balanced game, try Standard.

Yes in general that is a good rule…but when everyone you play against is playing the same exactly non sense to where you don’t even want to play their game anymore because of it maybe they should do something.

If the game is not fun the game will die faster.

There are alot of cards to counter the deck tho. Every class has ways. Also dirty rat helps alot. There are high chances you hit flamewaker since they dont have that many minions.

Are you suggesting they remove the opportunity for an unimaginative Google deck player to earn the “legend” card back?

Flamewalker is the go-to deck for plug and play mopes.

Just go wide… build a board full of deathrattle minions that summon minions, I’ve had Flamewaker mages run out of steam and cards before I’m in any way threatened.

At least it’s not a Tickatus thread, it took months for people to realise that Tick is totally 100% fine. :face_with_monocle:

That’s because APM mage typically only runs 5 minions and has no way to test for either secret without losing the game. It’s why Secret Mage hard counters APM mage.

not fine…my mind hasn’t changed since its introduction and its still a problem card…its just being shadowed right now(Wild side)…also ppl that have complain still hate the dang card…they just gave up on activision doing anything…they literaly giving ppl the middle finger

for Standard its not even being shadowed

minions that make the board go boom (or deal 4 damage to an enemy minion) when they die also do quite well.

Yeah I was kidding, I know Tickatus gets on peoples nerves, but for some perspective I just played a Rogue that put 26 copies of N’Zoth the Corruptor into their deck, prior to that I had a Shaman tech a copy of Tick into his deck and Shudderwock’d me to oblivion.

This deck is new cancer of HS. Sadly they did nothing about adjusting that deck. Excluding Crabrider, their nerfs did nothing.

yea but snipe is complete trash in all other matchups unlike a class with draw/removal and can play dirty rat.

snipe countering just one deck doesn’t make snipe a playable card, its going to lose you more than it wins. still nice point on how it counters their whole deck tho…like it is a very strong counter to apm mage, and like im saying can’t counter anything else, unlike dirty rat and good classes.

Personally think cards shouldn’t be able to be reduced to 0mana.
Set at most if you think of cards like Vendetta from Rogue or the Mage card Dragoncaller.

Every time something can get reduced to 0 it becomes a problem. Maybe not emidiately but given time it will.

Wouldn’t it just be better to end that instead?
