Thank you for your video and advice. Your English is excellent.

I have only tried Arena once using my free ticket. I did not like it because it was very different from standard Hearthstone. Now - a few months later - I have a feeling that Arena is the place where experienced players steal gold from beginners. I prefer my 100 gold per day thank you.

Please check your calculations. I believe that 5x50 is 250 and not 450.
That means that the gain is less than you concluded. And you still need 7 wins per run. I will probably never win 7 Arena games per day and even if I could I would prefer to play 7 standard games. 100 gold per day is better than nothing.

Hey Incaguard , my calculations are right , i just messed up my words a little , the thing i was trying to say , first you started with 200g total, and after winning 5x50 = 250 , so those 200 start gold + 250 from arena is 450 ^^ and as i mention in the video you will have a quest that will give you bonus gold , so for 5 wins you get 100g and 50g from the quest so you basically get the 7 wins raw gold ^^ thats how this 5 wins 3 quest system works , they are a lot of channels in youtube that teaches you how to play arena better , and honestly im a horrible arena player myself but still managing to get 5 wins at worst case ^^

Disclaimer: I did not watch the video, I am commenting on what is written here. Especially on this part:

I’ve collected a lot of stats (results and rewards of 562 arena runs so far) and done a lot of math already based on that collected data. I think I collected enough data to be statistically relevant at the lower price tiers; my number of 10±win runs is too low to really be conclusive on average rewards there but they have very little influence on the numbers below anyway.
(Note: All the computations I made are based on the assumption of a fixed win rate throughout the run, whereas in reality your win rate will be higher at the start and after 2 losses and lower after 8 or so wins - but that would become more complex than my math skills can handle).

Is Arena worth the gold?
That first of all depends on what you would otherwise use your gold for. Are you saving to buy packs of the last expansion? Or saving for something else (older expansion or access to solo content)? The reason this matters is that each arena run is guaranteed to drop one pack of the last expansion. If you are still collecting those, then an Arena run is effectively paying a pack you want for 100 gold and paying an extra 50 gold for entry to the Arena and for the rest of the rewards.
But if you don’t need packs of the last expansion, then you pay 150 gold for entry to the Arena, a handful of dust (apparently according to statistics kept by others the average pack is worth 95 dust or so), and the extra rewards.

Case 1: You still need/want packs of the last expansion
In this case, Arena is worth the investment if you manage to get an average win rate of 49% in Arena matches. With that win rate, your average run will end at 2.88 wins; your average rewards will be 50.3 gold, 11.7 dust, and 0.2 cards; plus of course the guaranteed pack. (The chance of an extra pack and golden cards exist but would be rounded down to 0.0). The gold alone is more than you paid (if you count the pack as being worth the other 100 gold).
If your play time is limited, then this does mean you played 6 games in a format where you don’t get 10 gold per 3 wins, so you actually lost another 10 gold. I guess that is made up for by the dust and cards, or else you’ll need to get slightly better - at 52.5% win rate your gold is up to 60 and the other rewards are up a bit as well.
(The above does not apply if you have enough time every day to get to the maximum of 10 x 10 gold reward, AND still have time for Arena)

Case 2: You don’t care about packs of the last expansion
If the guaranteed pack is just 40 or more dusst to you, and you save gold for something else, then to make Arena worth the investment you really want to get at least the 150 gold entry fee back from the rewards. This is called “going infinite” and a common misunderstanding is that you need at least 7 wins. That is true for a single run (7+ wins guarantees 150 gold or more; 6- wins is always less than 150 gold). But the extra gold from runs of more than 7 can compensate for some runs of less than 7. And in fact, computations on my data show that a 70% win rate of Arena games gives you an average run result of 6.4 wins, and an average reward of 151.3 gold, 9.7 dust, 1 “new” pack, 0.04 “older” packs, 0.24 plain cards, and 0.2 golden cards.
You do still lose the gold from wins in other modes. 6.4 wins takes 9.4 games, plus the time of the draft, so let’s say you could have played 10 ranked games in that time, for 5 wins average - that’s 16.7 gold. That is fixed if you improve your win rate to 72% (where you get 167.4 gold, and roughly the same amounts in the other rewards).

TL;DR - bottom line
If you want to use Arena as a cheaper way to get more packs from the most recent expansion, then it is worth it if you get an average result of ~3 wins per run, which requires a ~50% average win rate.
If you don’t care about packs of the most recent expansion and just want to increase your gold, then you need an average result of just under 6.5 wins per run, which requires a ~70% average win rate.

And you have gained 250g and not 450g.

Yes as stated in the video if you had taken your time to watch it: You need 7 wins. Only 9% percent of the players will get 7 wins or more.

Incaguard , my video is to show that you dont need 7 wins to get your gold back from arena :x … please watch the video again >.>

HealBot, you have convinced me not ever to enter the Arena again.
Thank you

Its up to you buddy xD
