Hello there!
Title says it all. I can’t chat with anyone because when i hit the “enter” key on my chromebook’s keyboard nothing happens. If i go to chat with friends, i can type but cant send messages. I have the most recent updates to the game and OS.
Using a pixelbook.
Anyone have a fix or workaround for this? i did a little research and saw that holding shift + enter might be a workaround but it didn’t work for me.

It’s not working for me on PC, did you happen to find a fix?
You CAN still chat with people, you just have to click your friends list, and then click the friend you want to message back. But it’s a huge pain now.
Blizzard we are still waiting for a fix or once again are you Proving you don’t read your own forums?

Dunno if this will help anyone now but the issue was with my Microsoft keyboard, switching it back to English from Korean solved this issue for me. Another post mentioned enabling legacy keyboards in windows options as a solution as well.
This bug was still happening as of Season 28.
