To be fair, I did use that emote exclusively to tilt people xD
Canât those same people have just used the Squelch feature? Pretty sad that such an important emote died because a few people didnât know how to use Squelch?
I just squelch by default, but to be honest they shouldâve added an âautosquelchâ feature, then the emote wouldnât have to be removed.
To be fair, the way some of the avatars said sorry was probably too snide, patronizing, condescending, or otherwise hurtful to some delicate flowerâs âfeelsâ and had to be done away with to reduce the risk of Hearthstone trauma.
But that isnât really even fair at allâŚapparently the Squelch feature has been in the game this whole timeâŚand like Iâve said previously in this thread, I remember when Greetings from Paladin and Priest could tilt people, or the classic Well Played that often followed heated contentious games where something purely RNG decided it (like Ragnaros going Face for lethal when you have a full board that it could have targeted), any emote is used for anything at anytime to get under opponents skinâŚagain, that is why the Squelch feature is in the game, for anyone too sensitive or annoyed or upset with someone using the emote system. So I mean I understand you try to be fair but you werenât really being fair
Now the trauma is Reno voiceline or the Unkilliax animation.
Renoâs voice IS pretty annoying imo. Just something about it makes me feel putting a muzzle on him.
The greatest minion in the game.
I keep hoping one day they lower his mana cost or recreate him as a 4 mana 3/3 or something.
This is the best disruption tool of all time IMO and itâs what disruption should look like. It stops so many things from happening.
I put him in so many wild decks and heâs so fun.
I usually just forfeit because i donât really play decks that can get high up the ladder. Donât wanna deal with that nonsense of stalling the game for 12 more turns just to get screwed by 7 unkillable Zilliax while the warrior gets 60 armor.
Last I checked the results are not conclusive.
I am, and that one word is Discover.
Ironically unironic use of the subject of the thread. Good on you.
Your refusal to believe isnt relevant to somethingâs existence. Most things dont operate on Tinkerbell existence mechanics.
Its probably a good practice to be in to ensure whatever you say or type can be read aloud in a school setting. It ensures your likelihood of being made to look bad or embarrassed or ruin a career in your future a lot less likely.
In this same vein, they still have not added auto-squelch.
People just use the other emotes with the intent to BM anyway.
Iâve had people wipe me, only to say âGreetingsâ as they killed me. Unless Iâve been doing social cues wrong my whole life but Iâm pretty sure a greetings is when you âgreetâ someone, not when you part ways lol.
Time to take away the Greetings emote! (joking)
Thank youâŚexactlyâŚwhy did Sorry have to die when the rest of the emotes stood around them watching Sorry bleed out, knowing they were all equally guilty? Or rather, equally innocent. I literally got fooled into thinking they must have removed the Squelch feature from the game because thatâs the only reason such an action taken against a beloved emote would make sense. But the squelch feature has always been there, soâŚ
Aloha would like to have a couple words with youâŚ
specifically, âAlohaâ and âAlohaâ
lol
Because not every Heroâs âsorryâ emote was just the word âsorryâ.
Malfurionâs was âSorry about that.â which on its face is mostly just the term sorry, but with the full phrase involved it can easily be used sarcastically and trolled into oblivion as well as any other emote could, but this would be on the level of both annoying and unsportsmanlike if not just being rude,
Thrallâs was equal to this with âSorry that happened.â
There are others Iâm sure but I think the point has been made.
Because you couldnât right click or long press your opponent to make sure before making 2 threads about this?
Thatâs the case for all the emotes though (with some exceptions like Anduin Greetings, though even that was rage inducing for some because of him being a teenager with a dopey voice and knowing what was in store for the match due to Priest being one of the most hated classes)
I see your point but it is a bad/invalid one, shown above
Sorry but I have never used the squelch feature ever in the game. Also I have only made one thread about this (sorry/emotes) whereas the other that I imagine you are referring to is about Squelch. I understand your confusion however, as they are linked together in some ways, yet they are completely different topics. Sorry if Iâve upset or frustrated you, as you seem to be, it was not my intent.
They oughtta make a 10 Mana 1/1 legendary that gives you the sorry emote for the rest of the game. Next level trolling ftw!
Bah! Foiled again.
And it auto emotes after each action you make.
And it is an un-squelchable emote.
Make it happen, Bliz!
