Dusting Uncraftable cards?

I have a lot of cards where I hold four in my collection - two normal, and two gold. And they’re all uncraftable.

But uncraftable doesn’t mean undustable.

Why can’t I dust my uncraftable gold cards and release the dust value of the cards? I earned them, they’re mine. If I still have two cards, I should be able to choose to dust the extra, dusting either normal or gold as I choose. And I’d clean up my collection.

Release the cards! Unleash the dust!

hotfix: we now added the word “undustable” when you look at an “uncraftable” card

But if you could dust all your free cards from the reward track, then you might have a marginally easier time crafting cards you actually want. How are the small indie devs at Blizzard going to make a living if you don’t need to buy 100 packs to have fun on ladder?

Because the card wasn’t created with dust it was just freely added to your collection. Like a U2 album.

It wouldn’t make sense to let it be dusted number 1 because you didn’t craft it so you haven’t lost dust and number 2 because you would never be able to craft another copy in the future with no way to get the card again.

You haven’t lost out in anyway by not allowing you to dust it. Just treat the card as if it never existed to begin with.

LoL … I neither like nor dislike U2 but that comment was hilarious

No. often, I had to earn it by grinding and levelling up.

I worked for it, it’s mine, so I should be able to dust it if I choose.

The mere fact that they give you free cards is something quite recent. That simply wasn’t the case in the beginning. There was no reward for sinking time into this game. So stop complaining you can’t “sell back” things you got GIFTED

How much does Blizzard pay you?

all of your statements are untrue.

The reward track is fairly new and IF you played this game since the Beta, like me, you’d know this stuff. But since you don’t, you excel in pretending

This is what you’re saying, that the reward wasn’t a reward, and I agree.

I am sick of these things. Give me dust or gold or packs, but not uncraftable unwanteds.

Exactly.

So basically I should start sending used toilet paper to people and that’s a reward because it’s more than they had before and if they don’t like it they should not complain because it was generous of me to not flush it?

This whole idea that golden cards you can’t use are awesome makes no sense. If I have to work to get a level, I should get a reward of some value to me.

They aren’t awsome but they are better than nothing.

Remember that originally the reward track had 50 rewards; now there are 100 with the same gold (i think) but extra stuff, so it’s literally an extra.

They could make it better, like giving “tokens” to craft cards instead of a specific card (yes, I found 2x of the free epic and I don’t even have 1/3 of all epics), but blizzard must be blizzard.

Just look at the “fire festival event”. They don’t want to give us more rewards unless they are desperate (i.e. everyone complains, even pro players, like when they announced the first reward track)

They are the same as nothing.

yep, they randomly put trash along the path and called it an upgrade. It’s pretty sad that anyone is trying to defend them on this topic. The uncraftable cards are literally nothing burger filler to prevent the new track from being more rewarding that the other ones.

The only reason to have them “uncraftable” is greed. Elune forbid players get cards they want from dust and have fun playing different decks, right?

I would take “discover” for the random legendary/epics. That wouldn’t be a huge deal but would stop me getting all the trucking mage and priest lego cards I will never use.

Accepting this steaming turdburger of uncraftable muck as a “reward” isn’t making them any more desparate. Grab your proverbial pitchfork and join the fun, man!

I’ve played since before the very first expansion.

Your lies continue to be untrue.

i think you are new too we had uncraftables since the game release with the basic set

and we had to earn uncraftable gold cards by levelling up to level 60.

we earned them, by playing the game, and we should be able to dust them.

The OG (and terrible) single-card win condition Druid had, the great grandfather of Denathrius, the one and only God of madness, the chaos breeder, whom Ahn’qirajii worships.

C’thun! C’thuun! C’THUUUN!

Yeah I have a golden Mekkatorque and ETC … but I’d NEVER EVER dust them, even if I could because they are a point of pride
