Reduce cards by 1 in hand…I literally just annihilated someone with 3 x 0 mana cards as arcane hunter……it was over by turn 4

I just don’t get why you have to turn what could be a skill based tcg into a complete and utter random win/lose nonsense. It is probably why tournaments for this game have died, best strategy is beaten by stupid mechanic from a card they just pulled.
Also the way you implemented the update via phone was dumb, I don’t want to keep Hearthstone open to download the update, put it on the App Store and do it like every other developer does.

Wholeheartedly agree. I just played a game where I had to get a new hero power at the start of the game. Like make the ability to option out of this stupid BS. I’m over it.

Yes, but unfortunately these developers are making mistakes after mistakes… everyone can see that who played the game in the last few years.
1st They created Discovery, mana cheat and hand manipulation
2nd OTK cards showed up
3rd 40 card decks created and then weakened back for everyone except control
4th They made the aggro insanely fast and strong… and in opposite the 40 cards decks unlimited because they have a lot of board clear and discovery. Atleast Legendary minions should be removed from discovery pool because thats why they are Legendary… They are strong, can be used only once and decks can have only 1 of each… but these rules are broken too.
5th They started to create infinity by accident… and now they can’t make it stop because there are too many players who have too much free time and experiment them out more than Blizzard can. (If they are testing anything at all… because I am not sure about that either…)
6th They started to create a lot of randomity which can be controlled by the game even more easy.
What’s next? How can they make this game even worse and harder the ladder to climb? Because I think thats their goal… can’t think of any better reason for these decisions. But they should wake up really fast… They are killing the game and all the fun with these things in my opinion.

Random stuff is kinda irritating, but not all random stuff.
I like when random stuff can be a little gimmick or little flashy thing that looks silly if it doesn’t work out.
I dislike when random stuff can be an UN-quantifiable means for the sake of commercialism and commodity towards selling more exploits and being overbearing for the sake of making people give up and give in to buy more stuff in this game.

This game has been turned into RNGStone: Heroes of Discovercraft. Two days ago I played against a Mage that played a discover card EVERY turn! SO tired of everything being a bunch of random bs!

Marvel Snap does random correctly. It is a far better strategy game than 2023 Hearthstone.
Todays Hearth just feels like pushing a button and seeimg if you hit jackpot. Yay! I WIN.

Seriously, I swear, Blizz has lost all sense of their player base. It’s like they’re actively trying to sabotage their own IP’s. So infuriating.

Adding in these random effects highly disrupts our carefully crafted decks. It might be fun for a game or two, but mostly frustrating.
Blizzard, please stop this practice and make better choices in the future.
