I bought the $80 preorder package and got 2 ugly grey cards (think they’re called signature cards or so.)
Is it possible to exchange them to normal versions of the cards (they dont even have to be gold, just want the normal version of them).
Maybe I’m alone here but for my taste they look super ugly and dont fit into the game…beside them they’re hard to read and to differ form the other signature cards.
I dont understand why you add 1 more optical rarity, Diamond already looks super cool…give us a chance to get all cards in Diamond first before adding a new look.
But back to my question…is there a way to change the look of the signature cards, so they look like the normal version of the legendary?
And if not, can you refund me my $80 package so I can buy another package that don’t include the ugly signature Legendary cards bcs now I’m forced to have them into my deck (bcs I can’t get the same Legendary twice, means I have to use the 2 signature cards from the package).
This is the same with every reward track golden or diamond. Never will be dustable, dont get your hopes up on a refund. Your opinion on their aesthetic value to you is subjective to only you for your cards, even if someone else shares that view it doesnt make it objective enough to warrant what you are asking. If you dont want non dustable cards then dont purchase bundles that say they come with them. Or take part in the rewards tracks that will yield them to you in regular gameplay over time. If it bothers you so much to have something they took the time to make different as a gift, as a Promo version of the standard card, then dont participate in any way that will result in them becoming part of your collection. Go 100% Battlegrounds and wait til the next expansion comes and cross your fingers they dont do this very predictable and always reliable thing they do.
Thanks for the answere…I wrote the support that they offer me a option how to change the cards or refund, but I fear that you’ll right here and I have to live with 1-2 ugly cards in few decks.
Yeah i agree. I dont like that we couldnt dust these signature cards in the mega bundle. If it werent for the path of arthas the mega bundle would be a worse value this time.
I hope they dont do this again. It feels like they are so anti-costumer most of the time. With the exception of the mini set.
If you are trying to collect the cards, deck viability is irrelevant? Also the amount of ugly or pretty is also irrelevant.
I see you partake in misquoting me and reducing your paraphrase to a completely inaccurate take on what I was saying.
I said IF the promotional cards are so devastatingly ugly and offensive to own and not be able to do anything else but own them and use them in decks… THEN dont do something that would trigger putting them in your collection. Its a conditional statement that is reliant on the person’s opinions and conviction on their pettiness of said opinions. If they can learn to live with a freebie and understand you dont get resale value from said freebie (it isnt worth any dust because you didnt put money into their pockets to make it worth being dustable. it was a freebie. )
Now if you spent good irl money on specifically these cards and only these cards (bundles dont apply) then I’d say there’s a fair argument to be had there for dusting or refunds. perhaps an exchange for a random replacement of lower value even. (This promo legendary could be exchanged for a random golden rare or normal epic, either of which could then be dusted). Something.
But if its part of a bundle, no argument to be had. When the toy inside the cereal box isnt much a toy for you to enjoy, no refunds allowed. No exchanges, nothing should even be entertained as an idea of that variety.
Who decided that? A gift is something you get for free, there are no other conditions like what you are applying to it. That’s not how gifts work in any other context and that’s for a good reason. To borrow your version of paraphrasing: “An Xmas gift isnt a gift if I cant sell it or drive it.” Do you see how arrogant and pompous it is to add qualifiers to the idea of a gift?

You apparently don’t understand that most players have limited cards and can only use a few of the classes unless they spend a fortune on this game. The result is anytime you get a card for a class you don’t play, then it can turn into a resource… but not if it’s uncraftable. They’ve made a whole pile of these in recent years and they just sit there dead, which sucks.
You certainly are free to collect how you see fit, but you don’t get to tell other people their opinions.
So have a lovely time with your ugly, uncraftable cards! If you do send the message I will send you the gift.

I would prefer that they removed all of the cosmetically different cards because I think they’re rather silly and pointless. I get that it won’t happen, but they have added two more layers to their cards without any sort of dust return.
Don’t be fooled, thee path of arthas set should have been free for everyone. Just because they put a price on it ot doesn’t mean the mega bundle has more value than usual: it’s the f2p that are getting less value than usual.
Unironically even whales are getting less value since signature cards are way worse than golden legendaries in terms of dust.
Yall sound like a bunch of addicts always talking about dust. The only time Ive ever dusted a card is if it appears under the search term of “extra”. But even then I have to be careful, Loetheb original and Diamond Loetheb will show up under this search term despite being different cards and different sets. Yall’s obsession over what cant be dusted is just mind blowing.
