If they do not then what’s the point?
That would be a fully wasted 50-80 dollars thrown into the fire.
This goes for any other game / dlc they have pre-orders for currently. It costs a hell ton and as far as I can tell there is not a 100% chance for you to get everything that comes with…
I don’t consider my pre orders as fully wasted anymore than the Latin Music festivals and Salsa Congresses I attended where I didn’t go to 100% of the events.
And between air travel, hotels, and the tickets themselves some of those went over 1000 USD.

The pre-order does not guarantee you get all the cards.
In fact, even with both (160 packs + 1 hero card, which is a legendary) it’s very unlikely that you get all legendaries, though you will almost certainly get all commons, probably all rares, and a huge subset of the epics. Plus a lot of excess dust so you can also craft some cards.
60 packs for 50 bucks, or 100 packs for 80 bucks is a per-pack price of $0.83 / $0.80. This is much cheaper then any of the standard bundles (where the cheapest per pack is 70 dollars for 60 packs, or $1.17 per pack). So it’s not wasted if you are planning to spend money on packs anyway.
If you have enough gold to buy all the packs you desire, then the prepurchase is indeed a far lower value for money.

1 set have 24 legendary (excluding the new hero card). 160 packs is a 99% for all rare and common. approximately 9 legendary and 2 free one + the free one bliz giving. So likely with both preorder you getting 12 legendary, half of all the available one.

It will not. And think about the people that buy the cards each time. The game comes out with 4 expansion a year so that well over $400 a year people are putting down on this game not for a full set.
This game is no more than a cash grab.

You lost all credibility when you said 4 expansions.
Its 3.

4 expansions a year ?
this isnt shadowverse you are on hearthstone forums
Oh im sorry i hit 4 by mistake. Besides if it was 4 it would of been over $500 with buying both sets if people bought that.
Love the fact people call me out on a typeo but see no issue with people spending nearly half a grand a year on this game a year and not even getting a full set.

That is card games.
Magic you could spend more than that and not see a full set in fact you had a lower chance due to no bad luck protection.
You can also get the same amount of packs as a preorder without spending any money if your smart and active in the game. I haven’t bought a preorder for awhile and only buy the adventures and get everything I want each time between what I open plus dust.
Try doing that in other card games hard to do.
Price is subjective. You would have more ground to stand on agrueing the pack price was to high than trying to say you should get all the cards for x price. Card games never have been made around you getting everything just like most collectables. I see 0 reason it should be easy to get everything nor do I see a need for them to give everything. Most people won’t play everyclass as it is and likly to stick to x amount of favourites.
Would have even more grounds to stand on if you talked about the disparity in crafting costs which is something people agree one.
Almost no one that understands card games expects you to get a full set each time without spending unrealistic amounts of money.

Pack prizes are too high and that’s why I think they should raise the chances for cards other than duplicates, like overwatch did.
This would both be great for business and the overall player satisfaction (Resulting in more people buying it).

This right here would be a better method than the dust.

and on top of not getting the full set dont forget u cant sell these cards or your account for anything when u quit.
Yeah they grant you that feeling of remorse after you open your packs and get 2-3 legendaries that you don’t want and a ton of dup commons and rares.
Blizzard should do something extra for the people still willing to pay money for this game like allowing them to choose one legendary for paying.

Bundles have always offered me around 70-80% of the extension. I’m happy with that and that’s pretty fair. The DoD bundles will represent statistically around 80-90%.

80-90%
With the remaining 20-10% being the legendaries.
I mean, doesn’t sound like that good of a deal to me.

“All or nothing” does NOT apply here. That’s like saying I just wasted 13,000$ for me and my family to go to Disney because I didn’t go on everything.
I get a lot of the set for the preorder. If you want 80$ to get you a full collectible set of cards, regardless of card game, look somewhere else.
Don’t like it, don’t buy. You’re in no place to judge what other people do with their money.
I don’t necessarily want every single card in the pack, I just want less duplicates and more legendaries as they are usually the cards you don’t get a lot of.

They do. That’s what the free golden legendary is.
I think he means to choose which legendary you get, and not just a random one.
Thats excactly what a golden Legendary is basically.
It is worth 1.600 Dust (or the price of any regular non-golden Legendary), so if the golden Leg you get is crap you DC it, and craft what you need.
