Does it feel like Death Knight isn't really a class?

I was thinking about it, and Death Knight is less 1 class with 3 archtypes and more like 3 classes that have the same Hero Power and share some Tri-Class cards between them. I understand that they have the runes to try and make it easier to balance or something, but I wonder if the class wouldn’t be better served if they just outright removed the rune requirement on a bunch of cards so it would feel more like 1 cohesive class rather than 3.

The runes only exist so they can make their cards super powerful and broken, and then justify it by its “rune cost”. Like, if Frostwyrms Fury wasn’t a 3 frost rune card it would cost 10 mana.
