Do they ban people any more?

Do they ban people anymore? I am running into a lot of players playing their whole deck or most of it past the rope burn timer!!!

Players queue their actions within their turn time, but the animations sometimes keep playing for the opponent, especially if there were a large number of actions taken

Yeah I read a few years back there was a hack to turn off animations. So I think it is back.

I believe there may be a small number of players who use some kind of bannable animation speed up, but there are numerous legitimate plays that result in the same experience because the animations take longer to show to the opponent that they take to queue.

I have also read that some players with fast computers will simply close and reopen the app to skip animations in BGs.

You can skip animations in constructed the same way, but it’s less often clear when that would be of any benefit. Largely the rope appearing to burn past the turn timer happens when someone pulls of a lengthy combo that ends the game, so the game is already over by the time you reopen the app

I have close to the fastest PC possible for launching HS, it’s still relatively slow to reopen the game.

In BGs it might be an exploit since there you don’t play during the fight.

It may be an exploit in battlegrounds. I know a lot of players feel it’s necessary when their opponents have a beast build. Ive done it once or twice myself, but usually if I feel the need to disconnect, I stay disconnected for the rest of the match on purpose

I don’t bother to even try. In most cases it wouldn’t even help; the next round might be played fast; the animations might not even turn out to be slow, and if I took BGs very seriously to rank (I don’t) then I wouldn’t want to risk the ban.
