Do i missunderstand "Dredge"?

As i understand dredge put the option you choose on top of the deck, wich i understand as, in the next draw that option will be drawn.

But three times now i have used aquatic form when having 9 mana and choosed Eonar, expecting that i will then draw Eonar the next turn. However i didnt, as of the last time it happened i drew another dredge instead. The other two instances i drew a dirty rat and starlight whelp.

I have tried this with Yogg-Saron unleashed that can never be drawn directly with aquatic form bcs of the 15 original mana cost, but when i do choose Yogg he will be in my next draw.

I simply wondering if it is something i have missunderstood in the wording that causes what is written above.

Joyfull day to you all

Dredge is the option to look into the bottom 3 cards of your deck and chose one to draw next, that is true… but if a card will be shuffled into your deck before your next draw, it will shuffle your whole deck and won’t be able to draw your chosed card.
