Dissonant spell reward not counting cards played

I’ve been on a mission to get two golden audio amplifiers. I keep checking after I play these cards and the number sometimes updates and sometimes doesnt. I’ve been playing harmonic mood and harmonic metal. I’m playing these cards in the game, actually played not just in deck. Number will add some games and some games it won’t.

Are you always playing the dissonant form of the card ? If you play the harmonic form of the card it works for another achievement
Are you also always playing ranked mode ?

Yes always ranked. I will try using one of each type of the spell next game. Im at 49/50 in the quest.
