was explained in there news article but TLDR;
This was a compensation to players who purchased (with runestone/real money) the diamond Harth stonebrew bundle, because as a perk it came with the Golden Harth Stonebrew
Last month(maybe still) a Golden Harth Stonebrew was/is free to players
