Played a regular match of battlegrounds, one player was shown on top with 30-39 hp the whole game, only fought him round 1. As the game approached the end, I was in second place, fought and knocked out the 3rd place player and the game auto gave me 2nd place even though I had 20+ hp.

Same happened to me, i was playing elize had a great game with the new trend and there was bugged skycapp he had 38 hp i killed the ´´2nd´´ guy it showed me i was 1st but when i went to perks it showed me i was 2nd

Happened to me too. Dead Toki at number 1, I defeated the rest as a living Ragnaros with 11hp left. Game ends without continuing to next round and I am congratulated on 2nd place. No achievement for 1st place either. Sad. @Blizzard please resolve and compensate.

Fyi: I won previous round and hence hp didn’t drop below 11.
Same here, I won with Baz’hial with 1HP using her ability, And Lich-king had this bug so I took second place instead of first. So frustrating because I think Baz’hial is such a hard character to win with, so I really want the achievement, but it didn’t occur…

Same bug just happened to me im not playing BG until i see this garbage fixed in the patch notes…

Joining the tilt-train. Played Maiev, had a Sir Finley bugged at first place all game, went on to beat everybody else and then got my 2nd place, slapped on the bum and kicked out of the BG. No achievement for 1st place as Maiev either

I just had this bug happen to me. I got robbed of 1st place by a dead player. Instead, it gave me second place and no achievement for getting first.
had same yesterday. gave me 3rd place when I lost to 2nd place guy. first didn’t play
