Constant crashes on PC

I am having constant crashes on my PC where the game will just stop out of the blue. No message will be shown. This will happen at random moments which might be both ingame or in the lobby. It can happen within 10 seconds or sometimes it takes 15 minutes. I will be able to restart hearthstone quickly, but it is practically unplayable since these crashes happen several times per game on average.

I have tried a lot of measures already:

  • All my drivers are up to date
  • I ran the game as administrator and disabled antivirus. I also do not run any programs that might interfere
  • I have reinstalled the game multiple times and scanned for repairs
  • I have even reinstalled windows, which has the latest updates
  • Lowering my settings also does not seem to have any effect

None of this seems to fix the issue. I can play on an old PC and my android phone without a problem, but I would very much like to play on this computer.

My GPU is a Radeon RX Vega 64 and my CPU a Ryzen 7 3700x, which should both be sufficient to run the game. Especially since the old PC which i can play on has way lower specs. All my other games run smoothly and I have no connection issues.

Yep, i’m having this sime exact issue ever since i reinstalled my pc a few days ago. Updated my drivers, allowed the hearthstone executable to run as administrator… and yet, it seems to just randomly crash. Its very frustrating and literally makes the game unplayable. Like why should i play when i have to constantly worry about disconnecting and even getting my whole pc shutdown because of Hearthstone itself? Can you guys please fix it already… Or provide actual working solutions to fixing this issue? I have no clue what so ever what is causing this. Before i reinstalled my windows this wasn’t the case, but now? Every 30mins to 1hour the game crashes if i’m playing it

UPDATE: After an optional firmware for my ASUS laptop the game seems to be working fine.

Hey there,

This post was originally from January. Whatever was causing the original player’s issue is not likely related to what you are experiencing.

I recommend creating a new thread, with the issue listed in the title, details and system information in the post itself.

If this is on Windows or Mac PCs it would also be helpful if you could gather system data in the form of DXdiag (don’t worry about the msinfo) and host it on something like paste bin or post it in that new thread.

That will allow the community to work with you and figure this out.
