thursday 25th to fix a bug really ? it takes 2 days to apply first nerfs on demon hunter this is a nonsense ! 
hope we gonna get a compensation for this loooooooooong time of waiting
this is different from changing an atk stat or mana cost on the server side. the quest were supposed to launch at the same time as thr adventure, but didnt. therefore they have to recode the quest to check adventure completion instead of just checking when you complete chapter 1.
I have the same problem but on PC
So now we should finish the whole adventure to get the reward ??

Where are you getting 25th from? I don’t see it specified anywhere.

When you open the game, you will see this message: “Scheduled maintenance will be performed on Thursday 25 June between 03:00 (CET) and 05:00 (CET)”. I don’t know for sure if they will solve this issue, but it seems quite likely!

When is the problem solved its taken to long
- Fixed an issue that prevented players from finishing the Happy Felfire Festival Quest. You can now re-play the final mission of Chapter 1 to complete the Quest. In the coming weeks we plan to release a second fix that will automatically grant rewards that were missed from this bug upon login.
These changes will take place on the server side, so you won’t have to download anything if you’ve updated to 17.4.1.

Since the update, it works beating Baltharak BUT it seems to be better to wait if the game gives you reward automatically in a few days, so you can turn your legendary quest now to transform it into a regular one and have a few gold bonus.
This is incredibly dangerous advice.
If you reroll the legendary quest, I expect that you will simply not get the reward, period. And you probably will not receive the followup quests either; typically legendary quests come in chains where the next one only unlocks after completing all previous ones.
Anyone following this advice does so at their own risk. I wouldn’t chance it.

I got the quest rewards, problem is half the packs I got I couldn’t open at all, and when I tried to restart Hearthstone, the packs were gone.
Well I got 6 packs after I logged in, and after relogging, it dropped to 3, which is the correct quest reward 
The quest wont tick over for me either on the PC I am at 0/4. Its very frustrating.
this thread is about the adventure quest, you are talking about the challenges quest which is a different quest. to finish the challenges quest you must play the challenges in the solo adventure, not the story adventure.

did you get 3 or 6 the first time?
Similar thing seems to be happening with the trial by felfire challenges too.
