Take a look at the patch known issues. They recently updated it and specifically outline these issues.
- Duplicate protection applies for these reprints. So, if you already have (or disenchanted) the original versions, you won’t open them again in Caverns of Time packs until you’ve opened all new cards from that rarity.
problem is we got duplicates before getting all cards from that rarity

Huh?? If a new player started today and opened 10 packs from Forged in the Barrens, they would get a guaranteed Legendary in one of those packs… same with any set from the past that you have never opened packs from… that’s my understanding anyways which is why I asked if this “set” would actually count as a set and give a Legendary in the first 10 packs.
I got a Legendary in pack #6 for Caverns of Time 
I noticed that many cards that I used to own on the old expansions disappeared, as if I have never had them! Even common cards, which i had it all from the Grand Tournament, they are now showing that I don’t have them, because they are caverns of time… Aya Blackpawn Legendary, I had it! Never disenchanted it, and now it is gone!

Check your filters in the collection
ie: For aya make sure to be looking to Gadgetzan set
Nexus champion, Chillmaw, Bolf Ramshield, Gormok the impaler, Damn, even Ice Rager I had it, and now they are gone! Blizzard removed my wild cards!!!

OMG I had arcane blast! used to play it always with it! Rhonin too!
Ball of Spiders! I had 2 of the 6 mana version! They removed SEVERAL cards from my collection in the wild!

Missing SEVERAL cards from expansions: GVG - Grand Tournament, Gadgetzan, Un’Goro, Frozen Throne. Even common and rare cards which I had them all. Check your collections, they might have scammed you all

Yeah blizzard great idea and all but your packs are literally one of the FIRST RELEASEs i’ve ever seen able to DELETE CARDS, A ECONOMY AFFECTING BUG, what the crap?
HOW do you even manage to do that blizz? Rehire your qa team because seriously this is literally 0 qa testing levels of deleting cards from your collection, not programing a failsafe into fate splitter if killed by a non card (tavern brawl effect) and crashing the game for both players.
You had basic problems where signature cards were not giving dust.
But, this is the first time where BUYING A PACK HAS ACTUALLY DELETED CARDS FROM YOUR COLLECTION.
I got lucky just losing a few nax cards, but i opened a pack, it DELETED old copies of the cards when i opened the caverns of time pack.
I kept my cards, i know i kept 2 copies of every nax card and when i opened up taverns of time, it DELETED CARDS I REMEMBER PLAYING. WTF?
Blizzard, what are you doing?
YOU NEED QA if you’re letting not just gameplay ruining, but ECONOMY DELETING BUGS INGAME!
Yeah i don’t know HOW blizzard managed to “screw” this up, But their solution to “duplicate protection” seems to be deleting all of your other copies of cards and reducing you to 2, making this the first pack that functions like a computer virus.
Interesting set, horrible bugs! DO NOT BUY! Not even out of hate, this can LITERALLY DELETE PARTS OF YOUR COLLECTION WITH NO KNOWN REFUND OR REVERT!!
This isn’t even just failing to find them in sorting, but the cards originally owned from the original nax set are gone, wtf?!!?!? I’m just glad i only lost nax cards that were powercrept, because that is some scary spagehetti code. Was excited to open more as a deck brewer. Saw my collection of cards partially deleted by opens. Just NOPE. Not being a guinea pig, sorry.

The way the current “duplicate protection” seems to work is by DELETING YOUR OLD COPIES OF CARDS WHEN YOU OPEN A CAVERNS OF TIME CARD.
WHO codes it this way? This is horrible coding.
I’ve also found parts of whisper of the old gods where my original copy of spreading madness got deleted. I know i kept all my wild cards and literally have EVERY other rare, epic, and every other card.
Whatever pack you open up from Caverns of time, it DELETES your other copy. I DOn’t even know HOW you manage to code this BADLY… But blizzard, rehire your QA ASAP!
You’re gonna delete the servers and corrupt the gamefiles with your modern qa at this point!
This has happened too many times, especially every time they rotated core. Company steals from people and never makes it right. Going back to before the first dust debacle.
From what I’ve seen this should concern at least some of you talking about missing cards :
Have you tried selecting specificaly the expansion set these cards came from ? The game doesn’t display a card twice if you have it from several sets for some reason so you have to select the set you waqnt to see them from.
This came up in another thread, but this is worth mentioning here for how much of a scam twist is:
2400 gold got you all 4 wings an adventure. Now it won’t even get you a single deck of the hyper inflated cards. Sure, it will get you one of the new “cheap” decks, with all the good cards gone.
And then you look at the gold decks (you know, the strange reason some of the gold mini sets were never released in the shop, and why there was never an option for the gold cards for the adventures). The price is insane, exposing that this mode is nothing but another cash grab.

Don’t you find it normal to spend gold to get new cards ?
Sure adventures may have been the most worth things to get with gold in the game before minisets arrived (in a ratio of dust per gold)
But not all cards in a miniset were great. And it was also at a time were obtaining gold was much harder than it is now and there was no duplicate protection on packs
No one is asking you to pay for content you don’t want, but if you want what’s the actual problem here ?

please remove this play style. I do not like being expected to buy outdated sets that have limited use and calling it content. I should not have to buy new and then reworked cards to make it so wild is useable. I will not play twist nor will I give it my money. Focus on the future not past please.

Absolute scam that we have to buy all the cards we already own again just to use them in twist and duels. Fix this please, preferably before end of the twist season as I’m sure I’m not the only one with decks in mind they would like to play but can’t eithout recrafting cards I already own.
