Caverns of Time expansion packs won’t be obtainable in Ranked Standard reward chest, right?.. Don’t make this mistake please… we don’t need them in standard and you all know that… they are not usable.

No, not everyone is dusting in unwanted cards rightaway they get them… so no… don’t need card in standard which are not useable at all.
Hard pass. The sub model in hearthstone will kill this game. Card rental and more than three releases per year is too hard on people’s wallets. They already don’t do enough gold, so the f2p illusion would collapse. Doing two releases in a month is going to hard crack it already.
Having your deck locked because you didn’t pay your monthly sub would suck.
No way. Not a even a month after titans. Even the largest whale would balk at that blatant greed of that kind of cash crab. It’s bad enough there was barely spacing as it is. They haven’t even announced the mini set for titans as it is. THAT’S how terrible their unchecked greed is.

I’m confused - is the entire set made up of new cards? I saw they were talking about updated cards, but does this mean I already own most of the cards in the set?

You may already own most of them, yes. Only 34 of them are new and the rest are “reprints” which are the same as the ones you might have already.

Signature Kazakus looks great - I love the trenchcoat. On the other hand, Signature Patches is ridiculously ugly - it looks more like a WoW screenshot than an actual piece of art.

why would a wild player feel insulted over card buffs ?
I’m somewhat disappointed that the Hs:ngresult db error:303:0 sprites don’t want anybody getting excited for a patch they won’t be able to participate in

I opened 10 packs, got loads of cards I have ( I have every Wild card), and none of them show up for dusting! What gives? This is robbery, a complete waste of money.

Use the filters.
If you set to ‘caverns’ or ‘wild’ then you will see the caverns versions of your cards.
If you set to the specific set, it will only show you that set’s version, and not the caverns version.
Wrong the cards you already own is not there!! Do not buy any Caverns of Time packs until they fix it!!!

Do you have a Caverns of Time filter? I don’t have one. I have no idea how to manage the new cards at this point!
you do not . This doing works for the newest expansion packs , any packs that contains older cards will not get a legendary from the first 10 packs
Yes. It’s the topmost set you can filter to under the ‘wild sets’ heading. It’s right above alterac.

So no one here is talking about the fact that caverns of time packs do not have a duplicate protection that prevents you from obtaining duplicates of the original cards you own ?
I would love to open more packs of that expansion but on 15 cards (3 packs), 8 I already owned 2 copies of them and they were still flagged as new.
Being the same exact card from different expansions means duplicate protection ignores them…
edit : mb on that point, I double checked and I didn’t own all this cards in 2 but had disenchanted some of the originals. So far it looks like it is protected toward what you own and not what you dusted like other sets do
