Hearthstone puttin respect on Deathwing’s name, love it. :dragon:

Also glad to see Chromatus. Was a shame he was books only.

i find it odd that the hero class of the set paladin of the bronze gets a villian card

i honestly though the colossal minion for the flights with be like nozdormu for paladin

leads me to believe that the paladin class set will involve a sort of switching of sides

perhaps a murazonded deathwing hero card perhaps

or maybe something else will shatter away

I wonder what new power creep, overpowered nonsense they’ll print this time……

Lots of random things to speak on…

It’s pretty huge to see Blizzard offer TWO entire expansions card libraries to everyone. Like wow, I think at this time in the games place not a single person should see that as generous, and see it for what it really comes across as… A full blown cataclysmic fail of those two sets. So much so, that basically the most meta cards are going to be from Timeways, and Cataclysm set by far.

I get a chuckle out of anyone who recently crafted anything from those sets lol. Hopefully people cashed in on Fyrakk and that 8 mana neutral legendary spell when they could, cause they basically joined the core set for free . (At least y’know, for serveral months on end).

I don’t feel any “hype” over colossals returning. Unga bunga build up my “Galakrond” again with some trash. Play Big minion maybe win game.

Then we have a first time ever…Neutral Hero Card. Which… for such a character doesn’t even feel like a Neutral character. Cast me for 10 and do something mediocre lol. I get a 12/12 Dragon! Wow… Or I uhh shuffle some stuff in my deck it they cost 1 mana :open_mouth:. 10 mana Flamestrike boys!  . Blah blah people can ramp they’re hero card to do all those options, big fing whoop. What’s the worst feeling is people just find there “10 mana neutral addon for Elise now”. DERPPPPPPPPP

I didn’t see anything super cool previewed today. I only liked that neutral 1 mana spell coming from a rewards event coming. Ragnaros didn’t look great, very generic will hate it when it’s fully “imbued” up. Paladins Dragon looks unbearable to play against. Seeing that makes me HOPE that stupid 4 mana maul tutor gets fing nerfed. Just picture that crap being ramped into if not Aura guy anymore.

Okay, I found 1 thing remotely “cool” being added. It appears they might honestly start doing special card backs for hitting Legend. Now will they do this every single month? Big doubts. But maybe a card back per year for the quote on quote “year” yeah most likely…yay.

P.S. Posted in your thread Random, as I feel that stupid chezzus dunce licks blizzards hind end to much for me.

Legendary · Hero · Showdown in the Badlands · Battlecry: If your deck started with no duplicates, remove all enemy minions from the game.

i assume your being sarcastic, but you know what they say about assuming

The new card they released today is absolute BS…I can’t believe they made this

Essentially, the game is only control vs control now. You play this card as a control player, you just beat most aggro decks, likely beat all other combo decks, and leave yourself with your combo left to win the game.

Have a feeling within the next few days Druid will have an instant win combo in wild the second they play this on turn 3-4.

Standard, this just deletes so many classes because many classes need those 0-2 mana cards.

I’m going to go out on a limb and say this might be the most complained about card of all time within the next 1-2 weeks.

I don’t think people will even notice the card. Most of the complainers don’t even play anything that costs 2 or less mana in their crappy greed fatigue decks.

HS Paladin is the one that gets murlocs as one of its things. Back in the day some people got really triggered at how that makes little lore sense.

I think they’re designing decks/cards/entire classes with the assumption that people have cards from the previous sets to work with the new set.

Well, at least as of now, if an aggro can’t kill or nearly kill a control deck by turn 7, they are probably not in for a good time anyway.

I think it’ll be like Renathal. Some will complain about what it does to the meta. Others will defend it. But since its effect may not always come into play (you have to play the card, whereas rena works just by slotting him in your deck), it probably won’t be as big of a meta changer as rena was.

Let’s stop acting like this is a turn 7 card…lol that’s the problem. You can do this turn 4-5.

If a control player gets this off on turn 5, aggro isn’t going to survive long enough to kill them.

I’ve had the card played against me a couple times today and it was somewhat disruptive. I’m actually having fun playing Paladin again because Libram got a REAL buff and i can play with some cards that have been sitting around waiting to be played.

It’s not destroying what’s in play which can be a problem if you are staring down an aggro deck looking to put you away the turn you want to play that minion.

Once ramp is basically gone in Standard for control i don’t see this card even being playable.

It’s going to be a MASSIVE problem in wild. Wild will essentially just become nothing but a stall/control/armor/draw deck, play this early as you can consistently draw it, destroy the decks and leave only your combo pieces left to win the next turn.

It’s beyond absurd.

And the problems this will create in Standard will become way more obvious as this card gains more traction.

Look, I’m a Control player. This is a dream card for Control decks. It shores up so many weaknesses. It will be complained about and I highly doubt this stays as is.

What great cards for Deathwing classes.
This is Decent of Dragons all over again, cross bred with Sunken City.
In other news: Mage gets an exciting new 1/1 that plays part of an old Michael Buble’ song when it dies.

I mean it’s wild and at some point Wild just becomes unplayable so its death is inevitable. Although all i ever here is that anything over cost 5 in Wild is unplayable. Not sure how true that is.

I just don’t see it in Control after rotation since DK and Warrior have no ramp. Sure you can play it on curve but control is also losing a ton of survivability at rotation. Who it really hurts is new players with few cards and anyone making a super low curve aggro deck. Doe sit really matter if those decks occasionally run into this card and fold? Probably not.

Any normal deck isn’t going to care about losing cards that are 1-2 cost on turn 7+ unless they are some combo enabler. In which case this card is a good tech against combo decks.

As a wildfire/devolving missles player, yeah, the card s*cks.
IDK why anyone is surprised. This kills every spell mage had that counters anything at all, beyond dice rolls.
Design is so biased now, it’s blatant.

Not even remotely close to being true.

Wild is basically 40% aggro, 40% Renathal control/highlander/combo decks and 20% non-Renathal combo decks.

And unless you are aggro vs aggro, turn 5 happens almost every single game unless someone highrolls. Today I played a combo-esque Warlock deck and got to turn 5 EVERY game no problem whatsoever, and probably hit turn 9-10 about 80% of the time.

You’re highly underestimating this card, I believe. This card is a tech card against a plethora of decks, which is absurd for a tech card.

If I take wild, for example, you play this 1 card and you’ve basically countered 70-80% of all decks in wild.

It’s not like this 1 card is an entire deck itself. Decks counter decks. This card counters decks by itself. Many decks, and many play styles.

This will get a lot of hate coming soon, I guarantee it.

What “plethora” of standard decks? I am not worried about wild. It’s basically abandoned ware at this point. They need to either walk away completely or bring back alternative modes to use rotated cards.

Between that card and steamcleaner I imagine you can delete a lot of rogue / DH decks in standard.

Its just a bad card to print as now they have to be careful in low cost card classes like rogue to not end up like how garona counters no minion mage

You don’t even need Steamcleaner anymore, unless you want to counter Quest Warrior, which won’t be needed.

Many of the shuffling things reduce cards down to below 3 anyway. It will take care of most of those. Counters Aviana, Incindius Eruptions, Asteroids, Mass productions, Quasar, Agency Espionage, etc.

Which is kind of funny since all of that rotates out. Those are the cards i would be more worried but cleaner already existed and has only become a meta player now that DH has become so broken.
