I mean we are used to the feeling of 1 click for the whole board and tempo you had to leave from the board but the starship as well? YOUR WHOLE NEW EXPANSION IS USELESS WITH THIS CARD. Building a starship just to dissapear well done again. At least leave the starship alone take everything else but not the starship that i am building the whole game.

Reno is just as fun like put your hand into a glass of acid… It is a complete anti-fun card just like remover Titans and Reska… these all were a huge mistake… This is a board based game and you spend mana to use cards… if ANY of these are manipulated in such disgusting way… the fun is killed. “I don’t like something so I just put it away…” this is the 10 year old kid’s attitude… No… such should not even exist… it is just makes the enemy job too easy to win. FACE the board… not remove it… get BALLS… There are already too many board clears in the game… for example Warrior has 8 different kinds of AOE… and this is way too many… not to mention it’s armor build and Boomboss… This game has no place for such remover cards at all… I checked all the last year’s expansion and I have to say… Titans and Showdown in the Badlands killed the game for the whole year… all of those who designed these unfair cards should be fired and everyone who agreed with them… because these ppl have no idea about balance or fairplay.
I am not saying to remove everything which can counter a Starship… but no need for such removers… Silence is a usable mechanic, Royal Librarian is still in the core set.

Maybe you dont know the portal of demons of sargeras, the reborns of unkilliax or the infnite taunts with the combo of Velen and Saronite Chain Gang, to give a known example, but some classes have no way to transform or get rid of this boards, i would pay to see how you remove that with your silence cards…
So yes it was going to be necessary eventually, and thanks to that we can have these cool cards/interactions in the game and even then his effect could be irrelevant for a 10 mana removal, hence the restriction to a single minion the next turn added…
Because Reno only punish hard those who go all in, throwing cards without thinking.
for everyone else its a simple board reset that allows a skillful resource management, if you want the board to matter then reduce damage from hand and otk´s…

Reno basically resets the entire match. It makes the previous nine turns irrelevant and the rest of the game pointless most of the time. The one deck that was keeping it in check was plague DK and then they changed the way Reno worked and here we are
They’re not going to change it and they’re not going to remove it because they think they did a good job with this

That change was baffling. The way to beat highlander was to stuff their deck with dups, and they buff it to make that not effective. Absolutely stupid.

That’s just your perception, we all know that even 30, 40 legendary decks are useless.no matter how intimidating or expensive they may seem…but no one can deny how fun they are…
It’s a shame that you and other forum beloved regulars who have some credibility contribute to making new players mentally blocked by thinking that Reno is an unfair card and hence they don’t seek to improve, just come here to repeat like parrots what you tell them…

I think it just sucks the fun out of the game. It’s a lazy card that does too much and Highlander games are some of the most ridiculously boring games in the history of Hearthstone.
It’s not just this Reno, it’s all of them. The whole style is stupid and designed to suck up resources. Go look at HS history, and the most expensive decks are almost always highlander lists. That’s not an accident or coincidence.
So I’m not liking a card, and you’re not liking me. That’s not the same thing.

I doubt new players have enough drive to visit the forums lol. When it comes to this archetype it’s very easy to spot those that enjoy it, and those that bad mouth it.
They don’t seem to get out much, but the most popular card game in the world, most played format is called “Commander” which is a 100 card singleton format lmao which Highlander in HS is a rip-off of. So, no matter how many times they shriek how much people just “hate the cards. hate the design” just know they couldn’t be more wrong it’s hilarious.
