Can we ban people who run standard decks in wild

Its just so annoying, why even play wild if there are no wild cards?

really a lot of bots in wild use only standard decks, this change would get rid of bots in wild

it would also be cool to play against a wild card

plus I just lost to a handbuff paladin, no wild cards

Why would they use old obsoleted cards that have been power crept many times over when they can use the more efficient new cards?

Pretty much every standard deck is a wild deck by definition…

My Ping deck is wild for certain. I think the only new cards I use are the pally tourist card and Grillmaster (thanks, Shy) which is really the only way mage has to tutor WF and Dawngrasp, ‘cuz ya’ know, Team 5 is just so impartial.

At some point in the near future the cards played in Wild will be mostly Standard or ones that have just recently rotated. There’s only a few select wild cards still playable that don’t have comparably power crept alternatives to play. It’s the nature of the game.

It’s like Saying Seeds of Destruction Warlock is a “Wild” pool of cards deck. It’s not it’s made up mostly of newer cards recently rotated or currently in standard.

I think it would be alot healthier and more honest to just admit that team 5 does not care about wild at all, but in rare instances when they pander to streamers that whine.

To balance wild they would have to ban certain cards and as of the last we knew from blizzards stance they were not ever allowed to ban a card from wild forever. Beyond that they would need a new mode removing those cards.

Both of which would take time and resource and something i think they have little of at this point.

yeah. I think they barely have the people to keep Standard anymore.
As long as we are banning stuff, lets’ take lifesteal out of the game completely.
And let’s get rid of cards that are generally too good, (theotar for starters) and force all classes to run situational cards the way I have to.

If you are losing in wild against standard then it’s on you entirely. Wild is way more overpowered than standard potentially since it’s more or less an abandoned format with extremely limited balancing with its main benefit to the company to sell old packs.

And the technical definition of wild is “also the standard cards are in wild” (i.e. wild means “ALL THE CARDS” and not “only the old cards”) (if you want “only the old cards” tell them to make a new format called “Archaic” or something).

I don’t disagree with what I think is his complaint entirely.
I think that Wild might benefit immensely if Standard cards were not allowed until rotation.
What say you?

Standard cards are part of the wild set, so this is a false idea right from the beginning.

And thanks to standard being included, we have wild decks running summon to the board with Charge for sobbing out loud. You don’t get any more broken than that.
