Can log in/edit decks. Can't queue games using mobile data

Galaxy S21 phone, for the past few weeks suddenly can’t play away from home. 5G with T-Mobile (Sprint) service.

Easy to reproduce this at home by turning wifi off/on. I get a match when on wifi. On 5G, about most days, it just spins and never starts a game, then about 4-5 minutes later I get a reconnect message “You are currently offline”. I choose Reconnect and try again, same results. I can try and try but it never starts a game. Then one or two days a week, it magically works. I can play as many back-to-back games as I want that session. Then the next day, it doesn’t work again. And the next day, usually.

Deleted the cache and reinstalled the game twice, no effect.

I tried making a new profile to use IP4/IP6 as posted by support about a year ago… no effect.

Turned off 5G and forced to use 3G/LTE… no effect.

I can play Mythgard and Legends of Runeterra fine on the same phone and 5G connection with no issues.

I notice others have reported the same issue. Can we please get some support to diagnose/fix this bug so we can reliably play using mobile data? I don’t know what else to do except uninstall Hearthstone from my phone…

Just found a fix on reddit:

the free cloudfare warp vpn app will fix this until Blizzard can.

One thing to try that might have helped. Shutdown the phone completely, then restart. Still no excuse for HS not working, but it may have worked around the glitch for now… that they still haven’t helped with.
