I just don’t like the fact that it is the week’s “Tavern Brawl”… I assumed it would be a special Arena. I would have preferred a normal Tavern Brawl (because I am cheap and like the easy pack of cards, I like to use it to satisfy daily quests, etc). But now it is just the 1000 gold (which I would never consider spending, again, I am cheap) for an upgraded Arena…
I personally think they did it to make people waste their gold just a little while before the next expansion, and increase the chance they will spend cash for the expansion. It’s a big bait if you are average to new player, even top players have been struggling to get more than 6 wins. You have to get really lucky. It’s just not worth to waste your gold on it, don’t bite the bait people.

If it was wild and I had 5000 gold, i would have probably skipped the brawl anyways
I’d rather take the 1000g, spend it all on arena tickets and go 0-3 on every single run - still more profitable than this scam.
