Blizz action needed - Trust Levels on these forums need a COMPLETE overhaul

The inability to post pictures/links properly due to the ridiculous threshold on Trust Levels is such a burden.

I find the requirements to get to Trust Level 3 to be absolutely absurd. There are only a very, very few select people (1 or 2?) that have the ability to post pictures/links properly on here because of how crazy the requirements are.

Despite the fact that I’ve never been banned on these forums, I’m nearing 2k posts, and frequent these forums every day and still am not even close to reaching Trust Level 3 is bonkers.

The levels need to be seriously adjusted. It’s extremely handy to have people at Trust Level 3 or higher when an expansion is released to post pictures of the new cards, etc.

It’s also quite ridiculous that the thresholds are so high for a forum that, sadly, rarely sees dev support to begin with. They want us to post tons and tons of topics, reply to tons and tons of topics and read tons and tons of topics in a forum they rarely visit. Why?

It’s time to lower the thresholds. There’s no reason not to.

Can we keep this topic on top until we get an official response or acknowledgement? We all deserve this change.

This is a thread worth bumping. It won’t make a difference, but it’s still worth bumping.

I agree. But for selfish reasons.

I want to be able to post screenshots and links.

Even @Wardrum can’t post links because he got banned for exposing his true job

That’s fine. If your trust level is good enough then you should be able to.

You shouldn’t have to read 20,000 posts every month just to post a screenshot of your game in hearthstone - something we wouldn’t mind if you wanted to show off a situation or ask questions about an interaction.

I think it’s fair to be selfish as long as you aren’t spamming. That’s what trust levels should be for.

wardrum complained about not being able to post pics after a ban ended a while ago

is true anyone getting suspended for first or minor offenses becomes permanently unable to post links ?

I just want to post weird hearthstone screenshots to the hearthstone forums come on blizzard

I would use a imagine to say once you get suspended you can’t post links but I can’t because I can’t post links

Yup, screenshots and links would be real nice to post without having to jump through hoops.

I want to be able to post frog memes. Make it so.

After my first couple 24 hour silences I was still TL 3. After an actual ban (I literally could not log into Bnet on these forums) it was gone.

They can’t even balance their own forums.

Right now this forum favors troll accounts with no posts over people who post regularly because regularity is not taken into account with disciplinary actions, so the more you post, the more likely you accrue false flags and baby reports.

Couldn’t agree more! Not without reaching critical agreement levels. Not sure what the consequences of that would be

This is actually true. Anyone who’s been banned over petty stuff will now have every future ban justified by the mod with “based on prior account activities…

I would love if we were able to nominate people for greater trust level. I don’t know if Lykotic has TL3, but if not, he really should.

I dislike this idea because @Wardrum will get to post links which would be bad

I mean he can post links but he values his Job more than some links

nice try to cover yourself.

Slowly the truth is seeling into your mind, reminding you that I don’t work for Blizzard and that you do, in fact, admire me.

You fool. The only thing that you are doing is digging yourself a deeper hole. A hole that is harder to climb out. You see a long time ago on the old forums… I will follow this story later but first you will have to succumb to your actions.
