BG became 2nd while still alive

I played a game of BattleGrounds in Hearthstone. As we all know there will be one winner eventually… Well, not this time because I came in second place while still having 12 HP left. I never got to really play against the first place guy and never saw this bug before. I also did not yet have the Ragnaros achievement you get when getting first place with him, now I still not have it.

I got a screenshot of the whole thing but can’t seem to post them.

I would appreciate some help on the matter to for instance still get the achievment or an explanation as to why I was not playing against the guy in first place.
