With no crafting there is no “waiting till the meta settle” because collecting cards is part of the belic Race.

I don’t get why you generalize about everyone. Some people only have like 2 games to play and are F2P. They can easily wait for days without playing to check for netdecking later.
And when they do they gonna be smashed by :

Only if netdecks for the brawl meta can’t exist, only with cards without tGDB.

They gonna at minimal reduce a Lot.
New expansion meta players aren’t popular enough yet because people don’t have the cards yet.
And as they enter they Will take space of the actual decks.

I am having so much fun in this brawl, even with my deck weakened because missing some old cards… No Reska, no Reno, no Yogy… it is Paradise compared to the normal games.

I think Priest is doomed this expansion. I opened Askara who can copy Shield of Askara but paying 6 mana for a 4/8 with Divine Shield is so bad, 2 of them essentially got removed by a random Talgath from Delicious Cheese one game, and Testing Dummy deathrattle triggers another game. Even with Velen I don’t think Draenei Priest can be saved…

Just did 1 lose / 6 win with a self made hand buff Paladin deck. Also tested some other strategies, but this was the most effective I have to say.

If you’re playing priest and not playing for Zarimi, you likely aren’t winning. It’s the only win con Priest really has. It’s not bad, I’m successful with a complete homebrew Control Priest Zarimi deck to legend this month. But this expansion offers like nothing for the class.
It’s doomed for the expansion; but not doomed in the meta as long as we have Zarimi.

I am enjoying it. Even as f2p its pretty fun to do a run then open a few packs and work with what you get. Will probably play it and just make sure to save like 8,000 gold for the xpac launch. Arena tickets are a bit pricey, but you usually pay 300 and get at least 3 packs back which is a decent deal especially since you can use new cards in the brawl

To a degree, it is making me wish standard were only ever the 3 most recent expansions with a continuous rotation so that the power level stayed more muted.

That whole year was a big “anti-fun” year of cards. Neutrals were entirely too powerful. Yogg nerfs, Reno nerfs, etc. Giving ALL classes access to multiple board wipes and mind control is ridiculous.

Yeah… the whole “slow deck? Auto add yogg, Zilliax, Marin…” Thing was getting infuriating.
Unfortunately ceaseless is another game flip card for every slow deck.
I know that i’m gonna sound like a broken disc but…
The solution is always in the future.
It isn’t like the cards were that bad either(marin has another year so maybe it is) but people get bored after a certain time and when they get bored the cons of a determined design will start to be easier to see.
There is no holy grail in design and that ideal of healthy design is dumb.

how can you say that it’s fun, when I’ve lost to zilliax warrior for the umpteenth time. its not fun having to deal with zilliax over and over. and don’t get me started on the dk control decks that are so unfun to play against. and the worst thing about it is that there playing 1 maybe 2 cards from the new expansion. so you can have you opinions but from were i’m looking this will be a horrific meta after rotation because of zilliax.
Yeah this BS just now popped up and looks to be the deck to beat. Sucking all the fun out of the game now because it looks unbeatable. No one can deal with 15 summoned poisoned zilliax

I like zillax, the concept. I don’t like Zillax the minions.
It’s too good at most things you use it for. About the only thing that’s tuned right is when you drop it cheap to buff tokens. The rest of it is overtuned, imo.
