I am truly at a loss. What game mechanics am I exploiting? Why do I have a week long account suspension? Why am I being told that maybe I’ve been automating or hacking when I have never done so? Does this have to do with criticism of the game mechanics or bugs I’ve reported? Isn’t that somehow unfair to people to report bugs if all you are going to do is suspend their accounts? Seriously, wtf is going on? You better be really damn specific in your reply because I am going to take this to the forums and show people what you are all about now … I’ve thought about leaving your game(s) before, but I will take as many people with me as I can if you don’t restore my account or have truly convincing and specific ironclad “evidence” of how I somehow apparently broke the rules and “exploited game mechanics” … so playing the game for achievements is exploiting the game??? That’s literally all I’ve been doing since I hit legend in standard (aside from dailies/weeklies) … which was for the achievement. How the hell do you come off suspending my account for a week? It’s absolutely insane.

has anyone else who is basically just playing the game normally been seeing this kind of action taken? we need to band together one way or another …

This is what was in the email I got that kicked me mid Battlegrounds match:

Poor attempt at humor aside, gotta say I cannot fathom how my play looks like a bot. I am always running out of time to decide, let alone take the actions each turn. Reading the pinned comments, does my genuinely bad Arena play look like a bot. Are they banning for specific 3rd party tools or something?

hmm… if they are suspending for roping, that seems kind of ridiculous … and maybe if that is triggering some kind of flag, then maybe that is how i got flagged … there are times when i just need to tab out of the game and go do something and wind up roping a few turns (and i know other people who get caught in a similar position) … that may be frustrating to other players, but it’s not something i’m trying to “exploit” whether or not i win the game from that point … and mostly it’s a loss for me, so if other people are already winning off of what are unfortunate situations on my end (regarding the game at least), why should i be “punished” twice for it? it still makes no sense to me

i got the same suspension today,sent a ticket and got automated reply.I’ve been playing the game a lot last months but still do not understand why i got suspended lol.

Yep happened to me too several weeks ago. Suspended for a week for no reason. Opened a support ticket that went unanswered for 12 days until I canceled it. Blizzard is such a trash company. I will never give them another cent of my money ever again.

This is a non-response. You can’t answer me with “you know whatcha did, don’t do it again” (i.e. the “please reconsider your actions” at the bottom of your in game policies {yes i clicked the links} … like you’re just going to imply yourselves out of answering to your actions). CAN YOU PLEASE DESCRIBE THE ACTIVITY YOU ARE SEEING FROM MY ACCOUNT SO I CAN ANSWER FOR IT. And then you’re like, but then you can get around our system again, and I’m like, but I’m not doing anything to get around your system, and you’re like, “but we can’t know that and don’t want to let out our secrets”, and I’m like “$#!+ man, i’m just playing the game what rule did i break” … and your like “well we know what you’re doing and you do too” and then I’m in a black site asking myself how the f@(k did i get here. Seriously, what part of the in game policies and/or terms of use did I break??? I don’t bot, I’ve been doing achievements and quests. What behaviors within that do I need curb so this doesn’t happen again? I don’t think any of my behavior has suddenly recently changed, so what the f@(k happened???

Are you playing a deck the abuses exploits? I know there are a few broken game interaction combo decks surfacing.

in standard i played a homebrew excavate dk until plat (maybe as high as diamond 10, but i think i switched just before), and then i swapped to a naga/shopper dh that was 1 card off from a deck on one of the websites b/c i only had 1 shopper (substitute card was mag, b/c that’s mostly what ur looking for anyway … so technically a slower version of the deck in a sense) … after legend in standard i hopped over to wild to try to stay low rank and hunt achievements … i did a lot of bouncing with paprazzi and pandas to complete sayge mage and bolner shaman, and now am doing something similar for yrel paladin achievement … idk anything about any of that being exploitative … is it now an exploit not to spend dust on a card that you don’t want to craft but want to get the achievement for??? idk what to tell you

Weird. Yeah I don’t know. Guessing you were flagged multiple times for whatever reasoning. One would assume you would be told why you got banned and what for. Automated messaging certainly doesn’t help.

Thanks for nothing. I hope you have a box you can check for “false positive” so you can adjust your flagging system (wow, there’s even a pun with that phrase, i hope the ai reading this gets it). I didn’t exploit anything intentionally, I’m really unsure about what I could have even accidentally done (like examples people on the forums brought up like roping), and I don’t use bots or automation (and if there is some kind of virus this could possibly be it would be really helpful if you could share even the tiniest shred of information about what happened). This is horrible service to a long time fan. If you are trying to implode you’re doing a great job, and I’m getting to the point where I hope you do, so gl with that.

I made an appeal too, and went on the official Hearthstone discord I have been on for 3 years now, and discussed the issue, while waiting for a response. Clarified I were a casual and getting hit with a suspension like that was weird af.
Hours go by as I read tons of people having same suspension sent out,
and I get an email, telling me it was an error, and the suspension was removed.

No, its not a ploy, I just dont post images on the forum, whoever wants to see the proof can, and likely already has, as a ton of people who care about the game already are on discord.
