What happens to the algorithm when you reach 6500 in ranking? I noticed that the game changes drastically when you reach 6500. It’s as if the randomness becomes much more controlled by the algorithm and it starts to choose who will win. I did some research on this and lo and behold, how surprising, other players noticed this breaking point.

No. You just go tilted. It’s just harder players there. It’s how the MMR works by design, the more you win the easier to lose.

6.5K is the wall I reach too btw. I don’t play too much (and even less so BGs) so if I reach that rating it’s usually at the end of the month, and it’s definitely hard to find total beginners there.
The rating is not the MMR so if you reach it early in the month it will be even harder, so mid-month: yeah it should be mainly very good players today.
Wut. Or maybe those people are literally professionals (they literally try to make money by streaming), so they play more carefully and win.

60/80 sample? AHAHAHA i played thousands of games, and reached 10/12k rating every season, followed many streamers and played often against them
even if you are too dumb for reconize the script there are tools like deck tracker who tell you the win or loss chance and the average damage
if there is someone who played only few games and think he have the knoweladge to be sure the game is not scripted thats you.

you are a waste of oxygen man, i wrote 200 times that the same algorithm is what make you win when it happen; the algorithm is not build for make someone lose, but for balance win rating and for make the games faster.
The Devs don’t have to micromanage how you will lose. You WILL lose sooner or later because they raise your MMR when you win. You just play with better players once your MMR is high enough and you get tilted and get the impression they are out to get you with the micromanagement of the game; those Devs can barely patch their basic UI bugs and you think they have the skill to micromanage the rigging with interactions between the cards inside singular games; they don’t have to do that anyway as already mentioned.
Maybe the Devs accelerate the MMR once you have a small win streak so you get suddenly a lot better players than you usually get at that point (so a loss after a small win streak might be even more imminent).
Basically unless you are THE best player in the world you may be matched with better players than you and just lose easily if you have won a lot in the recent past.

btw at around 9k you’ll start to get the lobby with streamers who are at 16k so no, from that point you wont get any increase in lobby quality

Get over it: you just got a high MMR and some players are just amazing there, you WILL lose sooner or later the more you win unless you are THE best player in the world (which is what you truly believe but it’s not true).
