Battlegrounds- Scrap Scraper Bug

There is a bug in the latest BG patch whereby Scrap Scraper stops giving magnetize minions at the end of its turn. I havent got a magnetize minion in about four turns.

Yes this did haopen to me I got 4-5 turns with no magnetic mechs at all and what made it worde thst I had end of turn twice to get more of them please fix this Blizzard it is ridiculous it just rendered 18 gold useless to me in a game…

the bug is back. in a game right now, made my scrapper golden, 4 turns later still no magnetic generation.

Same, 7 rounds and i have 2 golden. It was an eazy win but now im dead. GG

Game literally just cheated me out of an easy victory this way.

Just experienced this as well. I was getting the double magnetic minions for a few turns and then it abruptly stopped.

I was playing against another mech player so I’m not sure if it was a bug or all the magnetic minions being removed from the pool.

Same here, two or three games before I googled if it was just me or it’s a bug. Looks like a bug :frowning: :frowning: :frowning:

same here, as fast i gave it taunt it stop giving mech’s… won tho but sad when u have golden drakkari

I noticed that if I keep two normal scrap scrapers even with taunt and divine shield it works fine, so have to adjust to this bug :expressionless:

It’s not a bug. There are only so many of each type of minions. There isn’t an unlimited number of magnetize minions. Once they are used they leave the pool. If you have 3 players all using them this can come quite quickly.

This is false, considering first off that created minions usually does not count as drawn from the pool, but even if we assume they do, when a player dies his cards goes back to the pool, so in most of my games where this bug happens, it happens late after other mech players have died and there should still be plenty.

Also it seems to me that it does not happen if you dont make it golden.

As I said elsewhere, these are not copies of minions, they ARE the minions from the pool.

No they are not minions from the pool. Any generated minions from other cards are never from the pool.

I’d be inclined to agree with you based on previous ways BGs handled minions being given. However the circumstances that arise when the minion stops giving magnetics are not seemingly coincidental. There are no more magnetic minions available in the refreshing of the tavern after this point until they are forced back into the pool by another player’s elimination returning their collection to the pool, or someone decides to sell off some. I havent found any after this point of no more returns from the minion.

This is solely my experience I am speaking from but all evidence thus far points to my original point. Especially since it doesnt outright state they are copies being generated, unlike how many of the other methods of generated minions are phrased. (The hero that gives an extra copy of highest tier minion per refresh and freezes both, the Duo ogre guy, the tier 5 dragon that lets you discover a copy, the rafaam hero power, the rogue that makes the tavern refresh as a copy of the previous opponent’s warband, and so on).

If this was the case I wouldn’t be seeing anymore magnetics in the tavern…pretty sure I was seeing them though. Though given this was so long ago I’m not 100% certain.

Honestly at this point I’d call it a coin flip as to a bug or not a bug. When I encountered the dude stopping his end of turn tricks, I also noticed there would be not only no magnetics in the tavern refreshes, but no mechs at all either. But I encounter this issue frequently regardless of the tribe, if I am trying to play it, there will always be about 3 to 5 rounds in a row refreshing over and over and not encountering any member of the tribe, tier 1 to whatever I am. None. So this issue might just coincide with an actual bug and Im reading the mechanical tea leaf as it were.

The other option is its just a bug and it hasnt been acknowledged at all in any way by the blue font posters. Or it might be working as intended, and we have consumed all the end of turn freebies that minion is intended to give, despite nothing saying so on its card. all coins have 3 sides, and so does this issue lol.

It there is a bug, I would say that when you merge the magnetic into something they are not returned to the pool on death is the bug.
