Not a bug. The minion doesnt give you endless copies of magnetic mechs. It gives you actual magnetic mechs. Since the pool has a finite number of those, eventually there are none for it to give you as there are none left in the tavern pool anymore. Once you see them no longer yielding anything, begin to find a replacement for them.
