So, a new patch landed today, including significant Battlegrounds mode changes. In the second game I played, on turn midway through, I re-rolled the tavern minions resulting in only 3 showing when 4 slots were available. It didn’t just change down to 3 minions from 4; the 4th slot was clearly affecting tavern minions’ layout, but was invisible/empty, as the other 3 that did show were where you’d expect for 4 shown. I rolled again and now no tavern minions were shown at all. I alt-F4ed, started the client again, and it reconnected me to the previous game. The tavern minions all seemed to be available again, including on re-rolls. However, as you’d expect, enough time had passed that I took a rather large hit (I even had a card in-hand) and was left at 1 HP, though, for some strange reason it now showed me in 1st place with that 1 HP, even though there were still 8 people shown as in contention. Obviously I lost quickly thereafter, and would kind of like my 96 MMR back, though I don’t expect to get it given Blizzard’s policies.
If it matters, the champion I was using was Sylvanas. It could be triggered just for her, as her hero power is (last time I played her) incredibly buggy, but that only broke your minion ordering, which is quite different from this issue.
At no point did the client present any error indication to me, so adding some kind of sanity checking to catch breakage like this might be a good idea.
The game I played just prior had no issues I noticed. Played as Baz’hial and finished in 1st.
