Re-rolling heroes via tokens in Battlegrounds being a pay-to-win element is certainly up for debate. However, what makes absolutely no sense is that when you re-roll, you don’t even get the heroes in your selected skins. It feels like an indecisive and half-baked attempt at introducing a fresh mechanic.

Battlegrounds tokens were introduced with patch 31.2 (December 3, 2024). Yet, more than three months later, the ability to get your favorited hero skins after a re-roll is still not implemented.
+1 to this.
Microsoft/Activision/Blizzard only benefit from having the skins visible,
ppl see skins = ppl get excited about skins = ppl buy more skins
No idea why its not fixed yet, when they seem so quick to fix anything else affecting their bottom line
Yep, selling things for a f2p game is fine. However rerolling heroes when you get a bad pick is fundamental to the game. Because otherwise people will just leave the game to reroll. And nobody likes games with alot of leavers every match.
rerolls should be free avaible to everyone, even if you only get a limited amount of rerolls every day. paying people already got an advantage by having 2 more options than f2p players
Oh well ill just stick to leaving instead of buying rerolls if they dont fix it. until the game tires or frustrates me too much with its design
After patch 32.0 (March 18, 2025), re-rolling now gives you your favorite hero skin!
