So, battlegrounds literally got pay to win, without even the option to earn the perk through gold.
This is the last straw for me, i loved battlegrounds… this pay only feature is bs, i do not approve.

For me it doesn’t change much: i always played with 2 heroes and I don’t care about the mmr.
For bg players is a terrible news, but at least they aren’t selling heroes or minions (yet).
Careful what you wish for: many people asked for “better bg quests, more stuff to buy, rank rewards”, because playing for free wasn’t enough.
I told you that if blizzard ever added more rewards (bg battlepass in this case) it would have been something you have to pay.
There is no way blizzard adds more free stuff to the already 100% free mode (if you don’t play hs), which turns out to be the case.
I hope they will go back and let you allow to buy at least the 4 hero options for gold, but it seems BG wasn’t giving them enough cash from what you quoted
