Is it me or do BGs really seem to move too quickly. I used to have plenty of time between rounds before the timer runs out. Lately it feels like i am rushed. Even mid game feels rushed. Also noticed that for some reason each minion I play really slows the game down especially amalgom(all) type minions. I even notice watching a couple of the elite gamers like dog, and notice that they are a little more frantic, especially late game. Never had this issue until this latest patch (right before anomolies tbh) Now my question IS… are the timers between rounds shorter or are there just so many more complex mechanics that it takes longer to do turns. either way, for the love of all that is glorious, please give us more TIME. lol
If you generally lose more too, it might be the effect that anomalies are generally anti-P2W because they are too overpowered compared to the Heroes so F2P players seem higher skilled.
Other than that: they did increase the animation time - under conditions - but I don’t think they literally made everything shorter but maybe the opposite (during Tavern round).
I think the game is having a hard time synchronizing the universal time, I consistently see that powerful anomalies like the all gold crush the game if you have say, 100+ battlecries at the end of the turn.
Also anomalies are the opposite of anti-p2w
For example, a pirate hero during “all gold” has potential to get infinite loops of income at turn 3, making them 500%+ more efficient than the next hero. At least if you can play fast enough. There are many other example like getting the 2 gold hero on tier up during the gold transfer or maiv on gold transfer, you have enormous advantage over the lobby.
Where in say, vanilla BG, the best hero is maybe 25% better than the worst one, on a good day.
What I think actually happens is that Anomalies create a lot of unpredictable meta and combos, creating unconventional chaos, removing some of the consistency you would get in the vanilla BG.
I get that perspective, but I suspect if it’s true it’s applicable to extremely high ratings (above 8K at least) where they can truly squish all the performance of a hero they can get.
I believe everyone up and around 6K is more powerful now (or at least in recent days (people raise in rank)) because the anomalies give to those people the most power.
I mean the differences of the Heroes will be played clumsily by most people, but the anomalies will be more overtuned than that difference in both cases.
Ehh, in anomalies so many games now are decided by a damn Reborn/Revive hero because they can easily find Bonerender and combo into any tribe. If that is not pay to win I don’t know what is
While you get menageries hero and have to fight 200 minions with a 30/40
Your doing it wrong.
Give that little toxic dude reborn and resummon him 40 times a combat.
Kangor+Bone ender if mechs are available
Bone ender+mummifier for undead
There is some nuance for who needs taunt when and attacking order, but you can figure it out.
