So it seems people are dual logging accounts to just have them auto leave the game and remove the damage cap… Thats some sad nonsense that people are that hard on exploiting this just to win. That needs to be fixed somehow
Or maybe people want to play specific heroes only and will auto leave when they dont have any good choice ?
Whats pretty sad , is thinking people dual log to abuse a feature …
I think this is way more plausible than what OP suggests.
Especially since the damage cap is removed for everyone, and the supposed dual logger receives the uncapped damage too. No advantage here.
You mean…aside from the damage cap being removed?
It gets removed for everyone. Not just for the opponents. So no, I don’t.
Yeah cap is removed for everyone, but its incredibly troll and ruins the game when there 3 autoleavers right at the start
Just blame it on the hero choices instead …
People don’t leave for dmg cap , they leave because they got awful hero choices…its not mathematics 101 … simple logic…
So you think that people are logging into hearthstone via their cell phones and computers, or separate computers to q into battlegrounds and hope they get into the same game so they can concede one account to remove the dmg cap.
lol… really?
You know… the damage cap is a new thing, but regardless it has to come off at some point, and this conspiracy theory doesn’t give someone a better chance of winning.
Aokighara… can you not do math? your chances are greatly increased of a win if the number of players decreases. It also trolls player who want an actual game. Also people have been dual logging in games for many years now for little advantages here and there, its no secret. By your response, you probably support childish actions like these.
And Lyryal, these people leave the game even with top tier heroes, stop defending bad players
They can actually join the same game using the invite feature. Having said that, I don’t see how having the damage cap removed for everyone is an “abuse” unless OP is playing to hit the cap trying to up tiers aggressively. That seems more an adaptation or playstyle issue.
Which seems like a good reason for someone to join in on multiple accounts, then leave. Also seems like a good reason to take a couple good hero choices out of the pool while they’re at it.
Hard to see if you close your eyes.
so does your chances, so it’s not a “unique advantage”, but all the lobby benefits from it.
it does, but this is an issue of how the devs designed BG.
At high MMR, there are probably less people who leave the match due to a bad hero; in the low MMR there are probably more people who play for fun, so they may as well concede if they don’t find a hero they find fun.
there are possible explanations:
- they crashed
- they don’t find the top tier hero a fun hero
either way, it seems absurd to think they leave the game with a top tier hero just to troll the rest of the lobby: who even cares of the lobby if you can’t spectate it?
It’s way easier to just concede if you get a bad hero. Logging 2 accounts is only more “work”, but if that’s what you like to do, be my guest. Still, the removed cap presents no advantage. Just a quicker game for all.
To the first thing, ya so does mine, but i didnt ask for it nor do i find it fair. so who cares
Second, how its designed may be an issue, but then fix it.
and third People who crash can get a pass, but those who dont find a hero ‘fun’ or ‘top tier’ can kick rocks. Its funny how many people will come to defend actions like this instead of asking for it to be repaired. Probably people who do this kinda thing in the first place. Sad
there is nothing to be repaired: if I don’t like to play with both heroes I am offered and I don’t care about MMR, I concede and I start a next game.
If blizzard will fix it, by punishing who concedes early: it won’t matter, some people will still concede early and your game is still ruined.
If you fix it by making it impossible to concede: people would just do something else, while they speedrun the top 8, by not playing at all. The result is the same.
The easiest way to avoid a situation like this, is to get to high MMR where people don’t concede often (I don’t know how high you should be).
The easiest fix blizzard can implement, would be to add a bot that plays instead of the quitter; they aren’t even clearing HS ladder from bots or cheaters, so I don’t think this is a high priority for them (probably still a higher priority than banning cheaters and bots users, or fixing wild
)
I can see your point. I just find it frustrating that people need to mess with the game
Says this:
Immediately contradicts himself with:
Also dodges on increases odds for getting good hero picks and decreasing chances others will. But keep pretending nothing untoward is going on here.
Interesting how when a feature is being abused, certain people like to come out of the woodwork and scream “NOTHING TO SEE HERE, DON"T CHANGE ANYTHING!”
Feast or Famine Grounds is a cruddy format anyways.
Did you get the Elemental that procs to give ALL Elementals in Bobs Tavern +1/+1 for the rest of the game?
Did you get 1 or 2 or even 3 early? Did it Proc a billion times or does it get taken out first thing every round. Then you won.
Did you go Murlocs? Did get to level 5 with decent health left to survive and also find the poison procing murloc? Did he proc to make your murlocs poisonous? Or did it get taken out 1st every battle? Then you won.
Did you make all poisonous murlocs and get them all shielded? Then you beat the guy above.
There is no strategy to feast or famine grounds. Pure luck. You either feasted at the recruitment table or got jack. Your key minion to creating a killer lineup either survives long enough in combat to get the killer lineup or heh, love how every combat the first minion that gets taken out is the most crucial.
Brain Dead Format.
I don’t. So stop gasslighting.
You even quoted it. “For ALL”. In other words, if everyone has the same “advanteage”, noone actually has one - even playing field.
Let me help you with the definition.
advantage
noun
a condition or circumstance that puts one in a favourable or superior position
See? Puts ONE in a superior position. Not everyone.
I don’t. Stop gasslighting.
This is literally me explaining, how to increase your chances to get a better hero. I mean, if you do this, chance to actually play a game with a good hero increases to 100%.
Never heard of gasslighting.
Maybe you meant “gaslighting”
“psychological manipulation of a person usually over an extended period of time that causes the victim to question the validity of their own thoughts, perception of reality, or memories and typically leads to confusion, loss of confidence and self-esteem, uncertainty of one’s emotional or mental stability, and a dependency on the perpetrator”

Ironically, what you’re actually trying to do here with this battleground cheater situation. Like claiming someone using multiple accounts wouldn’t have an advantage over someone playing with just one.
Thanks for making my point for me. Checkmate.
While STILL dodging on the hero issue, while simultaneously trying to GASLIGHT (do learn to spell, please) about the very issue he claims he isn’t dodging on! I’ll take super obvious lies for $5000, Alex.
