no its not … THATS the point, if they meant for it to be used like that they wouldnt have implemented the combat phase. Also, as I said before it is the NATURAL “balance” for certain builds and strategies
Again that is your claim of “how it should be”. They are 100% aware of this and allowing it to be used on a “competitive ladder/leaderboard”. So as of now it is part of the game and you are stupid not to use it. It would like being into standard ladder and not using a deck tracker.

At what point has the official stance been that it is cheating. I would compare it to something like using a deck tracker.
Okay fine, it’s not cheating per say but it’s taking advantage of a game flaw which is kinda the same thing.
Personally I think it is cheating, just like deck trackers and win percentages and most of the add-ons that are made. All of those things contribute to the state of the game that is it right now which is crap. For most players who don’t use those things its or even know they exist it takes away from the original game design experience and for most tries to keep the game on the same plain for everyone.
Saying that I know that those things only bear a small percentage of the horrible state of the game. But still . . .
That’s like saying cleats and practice are unfair in sport. It makes no sense.
There are all kinds of small things that professionals use to be great at what they do regardless of the arena, and the things you mention are just small parts of the gamer tool kit. Next you’ll be on about you can’t have a faster machine than me or something.

No it’s your comparison that doesn’t make sense, I NEVER stated that “practice” or “playing a fast machine” is the same thing at all. Which is closer to practice or playing with cleats in football. Which is part of the game (football) by design.
Deck trackers and all of the add-ons are not apart of the Hearthstone Game design at all and I dont think were meant to be. Granted I don’t think they are the same level as restarting your app every turn to gain a time advantage or whatever. But it’s still not what the game was designed to do and by that definition thats cheating. You’re altering the state of the game other than what it was designed to do.
That’s all I’m saying.
But it’s clear you need every advantage you can get. Even if it does mean cheating . . . which this is.

Umm everyone can do it so no one has an advantage over anyone else.
If that were the case the ban hammer would have gone medieval on streamers and others by now.
Their lack of action seems to be authorization.

But it is part of the design of the game? Your focus should be blaming blizzard for a faulty inconsistant timer. Not trying to shame people for playing the game.

they banned disguised toast for streaming an exploit so we know they are willing to ban for streaming one
so if you say blizzard stated this is cheating then you must have a link about people getting banned right ?
I might have been looking at this all wrong . . . Blizzard has issues with it’s game for sure but the more and more I read the forums I’m now realizing that it’s the Hearthstone player base that is the real issue. Sure I put myself in there as well, I piss and moan about RNG or unbalanced minions or hero’s or whatever but I don’t use exploits to try to win.
These statements say it all, what about the fact that it’s just the wrong thing to do. That no matter what the exploit is or that it isn’t being fixed or being talked about by Blizzard isn’t the real issue. It’s that you all are using it to cheat and take advantage of people who don’t do it or don’t know about it.
It’s about doing the right thing, DON’T “FU@#$%” CHEAT! No matter what the exploit is and I don’t care about how many players, pros, streamers or who ever uses it the bigger picture is that it’s cheating and you shouldn’t do it.
Plain and simple. Do the right thing so the game is fair for EVERYONE who plays it. It’s sad that some of you don’t realize that whether or not you’ve been caught or not. Play the game by its rules.

It’s not illegal until it is. Until blizzard expressly says this, or deck trackers, of what have you is illegal then it is legal and thereby not cheating.
Also, I have never needed to use the skip combat nor even tried.

It says it right there!! It’s cheating according to Blizzard. What does it take for you to understand it? For the record I’m not talking about Deck Tracking just incase you want to go down that road.

This tells me you don’t understand that the combat is server side and the animations are client side, so your machine impacts how long your combat takes.
And if that were the case they would have already let many, many people know about it. They haven’t taken action or even given warning of action. Until that happens, it’s not cheating.
Then why did you bring it up?

The game is fair for everyone. Just cause you call it cheating does not make it so. This is not secret information, nor reguires special addons or downloads.
