I am awful even in real life so I have no idea what are you talking about.
It doesnt matter, Hearthstone is dying anyways.
I am pissed that even top streamers like Dog have used it on his stream. That is just BS. I lost ALL respect for him after I saw that. He does not need to cheat to win, and cheating to win is simply being a loser.
The fact that they haven’t even acknowledged this bug is the biggest tell-tale sign.
They have never addressed previous animation exploits from before that STILL EXIST to this day, so it is no surprise to me that they are closed lip on this.
With the difference that at least for some of those exploits they just ban you IF you use them… this disconnect BS though? Not a peep
That’s because those exploits were so few and far between they didn’t care. Now that this one is rampant AND being played by high profile streamers, they don’t seem to care at all. They are sacrificing game integrity for popularity.
Imagine being sweaty enough to try and cheat in Battlegrounds, and still lose.
They have and they pretty much have made it clear they have no intention of changing it nor declaring it an exploit.
Soooooo that means it’s…come on I think you can finish the sentence…it’s not…
It’s not an exploit.
There have been multiple instances discussing it and they not once declared it an exploit and have actually changed cards as a result of it rather than ban or change it. Drop it already. I almost never see anyone do it much less the claims “amg they’re taking my minions first though” is a sad silly argument as even when I’m the only player playing a tribe 90% of the time I go through 5 refreshes or more before I see any of them.
It’s not an exploit hence they haven’t banned or called it such.
Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t call it an exploit. But it is an unfair advantage if you are using that and someone else isn’t. It’s also a really shady way of manipulating time so that you are not bound to the same animation constraints as anyone else. That’s clearly an advantage. No one else that is playing the game can simulate what you are doing unless they manipulate their firewall and internet connection. People did this sort of stuff in WoW to do a “lag hack” and give them an advantage over other players by manipulating their internet and it was considered extremely bad taste to do so.
Manipulating a game outside of the game to gain an advantage inside the game is really shady to the point some people would call it cheating.
And of course they have no intention of changing it, it’s way too popular right now. Why would any company take action against their #1 player in a certain mode that’s being viewed by thousands of other players rooting them on?
Like I said, they are sacrificing game integrity for popularity. It speaks volumes to other players like myself about what sort of company they are for not being vocally against this kind of behavior.
Considering “their number 1 player” only is number 1 due to using said cheat should already be enough reason to address it.
I am in no way saying he isn’t good… but let’s be honest. The only reason he is THAT high is because he is cheating. Plain and simple. And there is only 2 ways to fix it. Either fix the exploit itself (the better thing to do) or make everyone’s active playtime a fixed time of XX seconds, starting the second you move your mouse - regardless how fast/slow the combat phase was.
The fact that they changed cards and how triples are made was no surprise, because that’s how Blizzard has always “fixed” issues… by somewhat fixing the results rather than the actual root of the problem.
And actually, I have stopped playing HS for a while now, due to this reason! And I also have not pre-ordered the new expansion because of this. I had pre-ordered EVERY single expansion/mini set that was there since Naxx came out… so yeah… im extremly disappointed with their non-stance.
