Blizzard will have to be careful on how it affects balance. Any “draw a card” battlecry is already pretty strong (and should affect the cost vs stats ratio on a minion). If the draw effect is more specific and guarantees the draw of a specific card, then that should be reflected in the cost vs stats even stronger!
Meh, I played vs Highlander decks and the flow of the cards get old. Dragonhoof =P
But cards like Dinometer Brann 7 cost (6 if coin) get King Crush NINE COST 8/8 rush. And Brann is always there on turn 7. Even in a Highlander one of a kind deck. Just a wonder how decks flow oh so carefully to win using those 1 of each card only turns 1 - 7.
But yeah, Priest closing factory or Rogue Grey Tessmane. Druids and Ysera get free dragons just play draw a card and bing bing bing towards the end of the deck.
Played vs a Rogue with typical King Togglewaggle discover dream card 3 cards for 0 cost and rest what RNG epic history.
Played vs draw draw draw Double Mountain Giant Warlock. Only 8 cards deep into the deck but you know both are there. Drop Khartut on 6, what else is new. Either this or Rottenapplebaum. Never without one of these. How do they know they will have it? Because its Hearthstone.
Play “Discover” 2 Warlock cards. Oh! I will take these 2 direct dmg spells yess please and one gets me health! Discover, such a bad mechanic as it takes out any skill that might remain.
Drop Ysera on 9 =P oh they call it high rolling but its not.
Now Drop Rotten Applebaum and seal the deal. Mountain giants heavily favored it for me and Ysera wins it for me.
Now send a friend request to taunt you with my no skill victory my cards always come off the deck the same Warlock Man Giant. Just played the cards the AI gave me.
Anyone see this deck before doing the same old same old?
I’ve always wanted a card like this for 2 reasons.
The obvious reason of being able to draw a relatively good card and make your deck more consistent as well as make interesting ‘1 legendary’ decks that want to get one powerful legendary that isn’t played due to it being inconsistently drawn. (Like High Priest Thekal in a Heal Paladin or Lady in White in Inner Fire Priest)
It is an appealing option to new players since legendaries are super flashy, why WOULDN’T you want to play them more?
