I’d like to propose an idea for Battlegrounds. When you have one remaining minion during combat, it attacks enemy minions efficiently to reduce damage. Countless times, my last minion has died, but there are still standing minions it could kill on the enemy’s side. I/you end up taking more damage (from standing minions and/or breaking a deathrattle and taking even MORE damage).
I’ve tried to pay close attention whenever this event will occur for both sides. Many times I’ve found whoever is down to one minion first will typically lose the combat. It would be nice to take less damage in these scenarios in order to survive longer and try to stabilize.
Example: Your last minion is the T6 beast deathrattle (looks like an elephant). It attacks enemy minions efficiently to reduce damage. The moment it dies and spawns the additional minions, you now have three minions and the efficient attacking does not apply. ONLY when you/your opponent has one minion alive does this mechanic work. Random targets still applies whenever you have 2+ minions alive on your side.
It’s so aggravating to see minions left alive which if they were killed would even slightly, maybe significantly, reduce your damage taken. I for one don’t like pain, as I imagine many others agree too. Jumping off a cliff from 100 feet high and hitting the water could potentially really hurt. If there’s another way off the cliff instead from 75 feet, or 50, or however far less, I’d take it so I’m not in agonizing pain afterwards - I wish my minions had the same mentality.
