Any workaround for hiding the "Screenshot saved" text?

Since it’s 2022, I exclusively share my screenshots either straight through my clipboard or through apps like ShareX. Blizzard seems set in their dinosaur ways on this one, as there’s no way to just not junk my harddrive with screeenshots I don’t use. On top of that, Hearthstone intercepts Printscreen on the first press, hoarding the privileged of a non-defaced screenshot for itself:

  • Push Printscreen
  • Hearthstone saves the clean screenshot to the desktop (sigh)
  • No data is copied to my clipboard, screen capture apps are not activated.
  • Push Printscreen again to rectify the previous step–however, now the “Screenshot saved” text is ruining the screenshot.

This is seriously extremely, extremely annoying. I have never seen any game as obstructive and frankly as authoritarian about screenshots as Hearthstone. You can edit the options file to change the path Hearthstone saves to, but I know of no way to hide the stupid massive text splayed across some of the prime areas of the screen.

So is there any way to do anything about this? I’m not holding my breath for Blizzard adding options to Hearthstone ever, since that seems the quickest way to suffocate. I am just raw every single day about how Hearthstone has the most problematic handling of screenshots of any game I’ve ever seen.
