Any way to restart/reset game in progress?

After installing patch yesterday, I get stuck on resuming game in progress and want to see if there is any way to reset it from my side?

Haven’t been able to find a similar problem described in forum or support articles. It is not at the page of connection in progress issue, and does not crash the game. It just stays at the screen that says “You were reconnected to your last game. Resuming…” forever.

but mine was not Patch related, I tried to start a Solo Challenge and it stared at me for 5 minutes so I quit the game and exited Battle.net, waited about 5 minutes and logged back in to Battle.net and HS, that’s when I was faced with the message and that’s been about 30mins ago, no change.

Change your password to kick bnet system up.

Update, so I tried changing my password and now it’s stuck on a different picture of the Hearthstone case/doors with camera moving around it but frozen mid-turn and out of focus (not sure how to describe it). There is now no message at all, but I can click on the options and friends menus, which I couldn’t before on the other reconnected message.

Edit: Oh, wait. I restarted the game again and got back to the old problem, so I guess no dice.

I have saved issue with my new tablet, so annoying with no response from anyone

So I just stayed away and this morning when I tried the game started differently, the message was “Trying to reconnect you” that finally ended with “Can’t reconnect” then it disconnected me. I restarted and got in just fine.

Call me stupid though I went right back to the same Solo Challenge (of which I can’t remember the name, I’ve just been trying to finish them all). Anyway, now I’m back where I started with this solo challenge “Starting” Forever. I’ve left it running for over 30 mins now

Problem solved.

  1. Log in to the game on your computer.
  2. Without leaving the game on your computer, log in to the game from your phone.
  3. Log in to the game again from your computer.
  4. Log in again from your phone (It should be enough).
  5. Repeat until it shows a reconnection error. Click ok and go to any old adventure, such as naxramas. Play the game (win or lose doesn’t matter) and there will be no more error.

Edit: Followed the link to Russian thread and they seem to indicate the key is to keep poking at the screen and I’ve tried this all day. While it does pop up some funny things for a split second if I do that while the opening screen loads (e.g. tables are full pop-up), and as it kicks you off one platform, it shows the game screen for a split second, so it looked promising.
Not sure how I did it but I finally got unstuck on my phone version, but after opening the shop, it jumped back to the same stuck… :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

Glad you found a solution, but it didn’t work for me. Perhaps it was another part of your procedure that helped you get the reconnection error?

Thanks for the input, and if you can think of anything else you did that might have triggered it please. It’s funny we’re sitting here trying to find out how to get a reliable reconnection error…

Looks like same issue in Europe server?

Saw the other thread with the same issue, and wonder is everyone with this problem was playing a solo challenge in Ashes of Outland/Trial by Felfire?

Bro, just use reconnecting from different platforms, in the same server on each other. When one platform give reconnecting, immediately open game on other platform. Continue it until you will see error. It took 2-3 reconnectings for me… try it, I think you will be lucky :slight_smile:

That’s what I’ve been doing off and on all day now… keeps going back to Reconnected/Resuming message and staying there or else no message and the blurry HS box. Is everyone else getting it to work?

Edit: Okay, finally got in again. Now I’m afraid to go into the wrong thing… :crossed_fingers:

I downloaded the app on my phone, and this worked for me also. Took about 2 minutes

Found an update on bluetracker.gg about this issue, seems like they put in a workaround for now so hopefully no one is getting stuck anymore.
