I find it so dumb; it’s a spoiler; it’s only a negative to them. They obviously saw Disney doing it with the “-verse” stuff and thought they’ll do the same; Warcraft did the exact same thing; it’s obviously the same Executives doing those things.
Correlation does not prove causation though. Disney announcing in advance what they will do has little to do with the successes they had in the past; plenty of bad movies are announced in advance; it does not mean they won’t flop.
Most of the expansions are already done, its not exactly difficult to make new cards, all that is left is the art and coding
They are bad at balancing so I wouldn’t say that. If they were good at balancing they wouldn’t have Wild abandoned at balancing because they are forced to ban cards from it suddenly every time. They obviously lack simulation and formulation tools to do that efficiently.
I doubt they’ve even done it badly, they probably just have the names of expansions.

I didn’t mention Disney because they had the same PLOT; that would be an absurd thing to do; but you WISH I said that,
I mentioned it because laying out their plans for entire arcs is something Disney was doing a lot.
And it had nothing to do with those Marvel and Star Wars successes earlier, they happened earlier.
