Android: Can't play hearthstone

Hello,

Since the latest update yesterday to patch 20.2.2 (the app on my phone has been updated), everytime Hearthstone is started, it keeps on saying “Hearthstone has been updated, please download the latest version”. When visiting Google PlayStore, there is no button to update and just Play button. But tapping the Play button yields the same result, causing it to loop back and forth between the app and Google PlayStore.

The version on my phone and on Google PlayStore is also the same.

How do you fix this?

I’m getting this same error on PC version, blizzard app says I’m on latest update. I check for updates and it says I’m up to date. Endless “get update”, can’t play loop cycle.

Also receiving the same problem on Mac client. Updated on Battle.net launcher but every time I launch the game it tells me I need to update. I even uninstalled the whole game and reinstalled and I am still getting the same problem.

If you reinstall, it resolves the issue. Seems to be the only way to get past it.

Reinstall worked for me too.

Yeah… reinstalled the app 3 times today. The problem keeps on returning.
