I see a lot of images of minions in DH that clearly are Demons
altruis the outcast surly is a demon? In fact aren’t all Satyrs Demons?
If they didn’t want to give satyrs the Demon tag why not have some Naga in the DH deck?
If any one can update me on the lore of WOW/Hearthstone I would appreciate it.
He is a Night elf.

Not everyone has or has played World of Warcraft but if you make a Demon Hunter and play through the starter zone for them, you’ll see that Altruis is a Night Elf and Kayn Sunfury is a Blood Elf. You side with one of them near the end of the campaign.
He’s also in Outland, in Nagrand as a quest giver. Used to be a 5 man group quest but I think it’s soloable now.

All the way at the further west end of the zone, you’ll find a huge area scorched by demons, Altruis is standing by the road. He’s got a netherdrake with him, if I remember right. Been a few years.
I actually think I know the exact place too now that you described it.
Yeah if I remember right, a portion of the quest involves you riding his netherdrake around to scout the demon’s artillery, then you have to destroy it.
